“Great week away, staff so friendly and helpful, we had a great time”

We loved our stay here, there we’re 17 of us over 6 rooms so we almost filled the hotel. The staff were all lovely. Facilities were ok and the location was great, it’s out of town so you need to bus in or ski a blue run in and out of town. If you’re beginners there’s a small green slope next to the hotel with a button lift - perfect to practice on. Really recommend the giant swing at Bascule, great fun. Lots happening in town - need to book restaurants in eve as all very busy until 9.30pm. No taxis to and from town, so need a car or ski back or bus back.

Very nice hotel, clean, warm and convenient. Food I the restaurant delicious. Hosts are very nice people. Highly recommended!

Owner was fantastic and right next to the ski station. You could ski off the patio on to the first lift and vice versa on your return.

“Peaceful stay with nice views”

We love the quiet location away from the centre but just 5 minute drive. Peaceful with lovely mountain view from the balcony. The rooms are basic but comfy and clean and the breakfast is great!

Nice quiet location. Nice and helpfull manager Flurian :-) helped us driving to town. Relatively cheaper than other hotels.

Fantastic gem of a hotel in stunning surroundings. Arrived 1st week Jan to plenty of snow. 90min taxi transfer from Geneva. Rooms are basic but great - quiet location, comfy beds, hot shower, adjustable radiator, balcony overlooking Etale ski lift. Lovely continental buffet breakfast and evening meals available, fabulous burgers. 2 ski lifts right next to hotel - U'fredy beginners slope and E'tale for intermediates. Ski storage room available. Very reliable bus service outside hotel (bus no.6) to go to La Clusaz town. Ski hire shop 500m walk or 1 stop on the bus. There is an automated kiosk by the bus stop you can collect your pre-booked lift passes. Would highly recommended this family friendly hotel and staff were very helpful.

We liked everything!!! Location and views where Amazing!!! Very warm and friendly welcome!!! Amazing food in the restaurant at night and very good breakfast in the morning!!! Very comfy room with a balcony and mountain views! Best value for money! If we ever come back to the area we will definitely book this place again! We where pretty sad to live after just one night stay! Thank you very much!!!

Location in view of the mountains in quiet location was superb. Restaurants etc nearby in the village, a short driving distance

“Mixed feelings about our stay there”

The room itself was clean. The bed sheets and towels were pleasantly soft. We could use the cost free parking and the shuttle bus to La Clusaz is just 100 meters from the hotel. The hotel is also just 100 meters from the L'Etale Ski Lift.

Very nice rooms, with good beds, and a lovely bathroom with a full size shower. Very good value for the price we paid. Nice staff. Nice little balcony

“Big expectations but sadly very dissapionted”

The room was very pleasant, with small balcony under the eves, the ski lift in close proximity. The free ski bus into town, (but this stops very early so you need a car to travel into town for dinner and back) not a walkable as its a steep uphill return
