Overview
Located in Chapelle d’Abondance, Chambre d'hôte La Petite Bergerie is set in a typical Alpine chalet and offers ski storage. The ski slopes are only 600 metres away and a free shuttle bus can be found 300 metres from the property. Decorated in a mountain style, all rooms feature a balcony with mountain views, a wardrobe and a private bathroom with a hairdryer. Each room has a TV with French and international channels. A continental breakfast is provided each morning at Chambre d'hôte La Petite Bergerie. There is a common kitchenette for cooking and restaurants 500 m from my property. Thonon and its train station is 35 km away and Abondance Abbey is only 7 km from the property. Free Wi-Fi access is available and free private parking is possible on site.

“Great location”
Great location, just a short, easy 5 min walk to the bars and restaurants in La Chapelle. Very clean room with a shared kitchen area you can use for making food/drinks. Owner is very accommodating and friendly and the breakfast is great with local and home made produce. Easy safe parking and safe storage for bikes too. Highly recommend.

“Chambre d'hôte (along the GR5)”
Nice location close to the city center/supermarket and the GR5 , which we were hiking. We cooked our own meal for which we shopped in the local supermarket. There is also a bakery nearby but we had a very good breakfast from our host. Very complete and local products. And even though we did not ask for lunch he kindly gave us 2 sandwiches when we left which was very nice.

“Perfect accommodation for a skiing or hiking trip at the entrance to the Portes du Soleil.”
The owner Mr Benoit is very attentive and goes out of his way for his clients. Home made bread and jams are a real treat for breakfast.

“Very calm, clean and good breakfast.”
Right next to the house, there's a trailhead we used for hiking. The breakfast was excellent, with lots of bread, eggs, cheese, salami, and homemade confiture plus coffee & tea. Rooms are clean and beds were comfortable. All in all we had a good time.
