Breakfast was outstanding, in a sunlit room overlooking a mountain stream. Local sheeps-millk yogurt and honey, excellent coffee and fruit were on offer as well as other options. A great way to nourish us before hiking in the mountains.

The location in one of the squares of La Brigue was great. The hotel operates as a local bar and restaurant and we really enjoyed using both. Our host Robbi was good fun.

Brilliant modest hotel in a beautiful town of La Brigue. Comfortable room, superb view from our window. Dinner was extremely good, and they have great wines as well. Host Roberto and all staff were wonderful. Great value. We had a very pleasant and relaxing stay. Highly recommended

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this charming place in the French Alps. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at ease and welcomed by owner Roberto, who was very super friendly and he really cared about every detail of our stay. The location is breathtaking – a beautiful, peaceful village called La Brigue nestled in the heart of the French Alps, perfect for a relaxing getaway or mountain adventures. The highlight of our stay was definitely a restaurant – the cuisine was amazing! Every meal was a delicious experience, full of rich flavors and local specialties. You can truly taste the love and care that goes into every dish cooked by wife of the owner Restaurant is a hidden gem, you would be surprised how tasty the food is, some french friend told us that we would not have such cuisine even in Paris. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I left feeling refreshed. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable Alpine escape in beautiful village La Brigue!

Cute little family-run hotel with refurbished rooms that are comfortable, clean, spacious. Hotel located in a cute charming village in Mercantour valley.

This hotel is located right in the small medieval town of La Brigue - everything in town is easily accessible by foot. The hotel restaurant dining here was the feature attraction as well as the exuberant and enthusiastic attention of the host - a major Bruce Springsteen fan. We enjoyed hiking to the ancient church Notre Dame des Fontanes, and to the neighboring (and larger) town of Tende on our two-day visit. There are other hiking trails in the vicinity, so you could easily spend three or four days here. The train from Nice is under repair till the end of 2025, but there is a bus service from Nice, Menton, or Ventimiglia. We took the Italian train from Ventimiglia, but note they don't sell tickets to La Brigue - you need to buy a ticket to/from the nearby Italian stop in Limone, and get on/off at La Brigue.

The staff was very kind, the food in the restaurant was amazing. Also the location near the river was stunning. We enjoyed our stay very much!

The host Roberto and other employees were extremely friendly and welcoming. I could not recommend this hotel enough! It was in a nice place, the rooms were fresh and clean. The food was delicious and they offered lots of fresh local produce which was amazing. We dined next to a river which was calming

Roberto and his team were exceptionally friendly welcoming and were eager to make our stay enjoyable. We opted to have dinner at the restaurant- it is in a room overlooking the creek and mountain's. Roberto explained the day’s menu choices to us and the dishes we selected were delicious - simple but fresh and homemade. We also opted to have breakfast at the restaurant - a cold continental breakfast - croissants,bread with local honey,homemade jam, cereal,fruit, fruit juice and tea or coffee. All the staff were friendly and had some English language skills They tried to answer any questions we had despite our very limited understanding of French

“Excellent place to stay in that area”

All the staff, including the owner, Roberto, were very good. And Roberto has a great sense of humour. The food was also very good, and regional. Excellent access to the other facilities in town, and to walks in the surrounding countryside.

Wr cannot comment on the hotel as on the morning of our arrival we we told room was not available due to technical issue. The hotel did arrange altetnative accomodation for us in two different hotels for the two different nights. Both of the alternative hotels were of a poor standard but were the only other hotels in La Brigue. Having said that, the owners of Les Fleurs des Alpes were very kind and the meal was very good

Robbie and his wife are fantastic hosts, who made us feel very welcome. He made our trip! Dinner at the hotel was really good and excellent value. La Brigue is a great place to stay if you want a mountain holiday. The local community is warm and welcoming.
