At first I was a bit upset because the restaurant was closed, and not properly mentionned on Booking. But it appeared that this was for good reasons (work to meet all the regulations) and the host have been fabulously friendly with me. Helpful at any time (just for 5 rooms), thoughtful, asking for feedback. The hotel is no frill, but everything is there, heating works well and is not noisy, room generally very calm, bed is good (I complain often about bed), two good bakeries next door, including one open on Sunday afternoon. They have a bike room which is very convenient, and a small parking lot.

“Small hotel with great Vietnamese/French restaurant”

We (senior couple in our 70th) spent 2 nights (May 2025) at this hotel-restaurant which stands in a fantastic location in the central square of La Bresse. Shops, cafes and bars are all around the hotel. You can have a simple breakfast at one of these. Free parking is about 50m from the hotel, On weekends they run a local market right at the hotel footsteps. We tasted some of the local cheeses and wine and sat in a cafe in the middle of the market - nice to start you day like that... -:). The restaurant which is part of this hotel is managed by a great lady - Lili - very friendly and helpful. Always welcomes you with a smile. Her English is fluent which is very helpfull if you don't speak French. The food in the restaurant is refreshing (after some "heavy" French dishes we've had in Alsace) and is based on the Vietnamese kitchen with French touch.... very yammi light and refreshing - exactly what we needed after a day drive in the Vosges Mountains. Lili is a great cook with an individualized touch. Highly recommended for dinner but make shure to reserve since locals also eat in there and so it could be full. The room was bit small with backyard view, but we got everything we needed (shower, coffee machine, clean sheets and towels and good bed mattress...). The room is fairly clean although it is an old house with some natural wear shows. Recommend this hotel and its restaurant to couples and individuals. Thank you Lili for your warm hospitality.

“Ski weekend in La Bresse”

Nice small hotel in the very city center of La Bresse. Parking is available in the street (free during night) or free parking at walking distance. Electric car plugs at 3 minutes walking. The place is first a nice restaurant with asian influences (viet / thai dishes) and 5 rooms at 1st floor above the restaurant, which make it a nice option compared to big hotels. Rooms are pretty small but comfortable and nice to stay. Toilet is small and next to the bed with a sliding door. Breakfast available in the restaurant for 15€, but we chose a bakery just opposite the hotel, as we did not want to have a huge breakfast. We had dinner at the restaurant and definitely a nice choice.

Quiet, as it's located on a side street. Great dinner in the restaurant.
