Although breakfast was quite expensive, the range of food and drinks available was very good and the self service nature meant it was extremely relaxed and made for a great start to the day. The Main Hotel building is beautiful and imposing. The Modern part is smart, clean, spacious and quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location, a 20 minute walk to the town and nearest beach was a bonus.

Absolutely stunning. It was an ‘experience’ from the minute we drove into the gates. Beautiful property, amazing staff, rooms are modern but still full of character. The pool is fabulous and as for the food ‘magnifique!’

“Classy to a point of almost failure.”
It's a smart comfortable hotel on the town's outskirts. We didn't have supper at the hotel as there seemed to be very little on offer that was guten free. The same with breakfast. Almost nothing gluten free. It's a very smart place but sometimes the smart can be overdone.

“Beautiful French chateau with highly professional staff and lovely restaurant”
The chateau is very stylish with a beautiful terrace with views over the swimming pool down to the sea in the distance. The staff are very polite and highly professional - they have obviously received extensive training. Our bedroom was in the main chateau, quite small but perfectly renovated with a brand new bathroom. We had dinner in the evening in the restaurant - again excellent service and the food was delicious and beautifully presented.

Absolutely stunning chateau in walking distance to the beach side town. Free bus service also takes you to Pornic and other beachside locations. Beautiful grounds and gorgeous rooms. Lovely renovations but still keeping the old charm. We were upgraded to a seaside view room and it was lovely. Breakfast was good and the estate had a bar and restaurant (although not open on Mondays) and places you can sit as well as outside around the pool. Best bath towels i have had so far in france. Plenty of free parking. Lovely host ...

“Probably a nice place to stay when everything is open, but it wasn't.”
Not much to say as the hotel was all but closed - regret booking this one. Apparently this is normal on a Monday night - in which case they should have told us that when booking rather than advertising all the facilities (pool, restaurant, terrace, etc.). Breakfast was good.

The breakfast was great.. lots of local bread, fruit, fruit and cheeses. The pool was lovely and a good size. The room was fine but could of been bigger.
