The chateau was beautiful, the peaceful surroundings and the hosts were very warm and welcoming, everything was perfect

Wonderful relaxed hosts, who could not have ben more friendly or helpful. The chateaux is gorgous and very informal, and the bedrooms are wonderful!

We loved absolutely everything — and that’s no exaggeration. The atmosphere of the house was simply stunning, the hospitality was incredible, and the pool was fantastic.

Fabulous stay. The hostess was very welcoming, smiling, and attentive. Hearty breakfast, with various teas from the United Kingdom, self-service, and served on beautiful dishes in a meticulously decorated interior. The arrangement of the various eclectic objects was not random. A beautiful decoration overall! Spacious room and equally spacious bathroom. Very well soundproofed. Little touches everywhere! Charming indoor vaulted pool. It's a shame the weather was rainy, as the surroundings are very relaxing. Definitely worth keeping on the agenda!

Christine is amazing so friendly and welcoming. The château is stunning inside and out. You feel like you are in a luxurious bubble where time doesn't exist and you don't want to leave. Best bed accommodation ever experienced. Special mention to the ambiance in the wine cellar pool: second to none. Swimsuit mandatory😻

The place was absolutely lovely. The breakfast was excellent and the hosts were so kind. It was an amazing experience to spend the night in this castle. A magical moment spent with family with a breathtaking view. We look forward to coming back!

“Beautiful old chateau in the countryside. We would return were we in France again.”

The hostess was very friendly and informative. We loved the subterranean swimming pool in the converted wine cellar of this lovely old chateau (there is also an outdoor pool). The breakfasts were extensive and we were encouraged to make tea or coffee or snack any time during the day as well. Our bedroom and bathroom were large, airy and comfortable. There was no A/C but with the very thick stone walls it was unnecessary even when the day was 34C.

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Authentic accomodation with 60 ha of garden.

Warm welcome from owner. Beautiful old chateau that has been renovated to a very high standard, luxury linens and pillows and everything that you need has been thought of. Delicious breakfast. It is very rural and peaceful but the beautiful town of Montignac is only 10 mins drive. Great indoor pool in renovated cellar.

Being in a small chateau, friendly owner, comfortable bed.

Before our trip, we spent a long time searching for the perfect place to stay. The description of this Château intrigued us, but the reality surpassed all expectations. A stunning location, a beautiful house, and incredibly warm hosts - Robert and Christine! They not only welcomed us with genuine hospitality but also recommended wonderful places to visit, helped us find great restaurants, and assisted with bookings. The atmosphere here is unmatched - cozy, stunning, and full of charm. Mornings begin with beautifully presented and delicious breakfasts, while the day can be spent admiring unique trinkets that make you feel truly special. Evenings bring their own magic, wrapped in the Château’s peaceful ambiance. Without a doubt, this has been one of the best vacation experiences. A heartfelt thank you to Christine and Robert!
