Overview
This traditional, rural hotel lies in the centre of the charming village of La Alberca, in a beautiful natural park to the south of Salamanca. With bare stone walls and sturdy oak beams, the Doña Teresa is built in a an authentic rustic style. It enjoys a privileged position just 100 metres from the villages main square, surrounded by mountains and the famous Rock of France sanctuary. Much of this stunning local landscape can be viewed from the hotels terrace and from the large outdoor swimming pool (located 1.5 km away), surrounded by gardens. After a day in the fresh air, you can return to the hotel to enjoy a delicious meal of home-made local specialities in the Abuela Carmen restaurant.

The restaurant is fabulous. Quality food in the dishes we chose and amazing value. And it’s open to anyone. We were surprised it was so quiet but perhaps people were scared of trying it being a four star hotel. When I think of the overpriced stuff we have found in Paradors!

Everything about this Hotel was first class in our opinion. Parking really handy and simple and all staff were very accommodating.

“Interesting stopover”
Very attractive but pricey stopover in this secluded village. (I understand it is much busier in season). Basic accommodation in a surprising colour scheme. The underground parking was a bonus, but not for a car much larger than mine. There was a coach party staying so I avoided dining in the hotel. Breakfast was excellent but extra.
