“Good location, great facilities, good price”
We had a private room. Small but perfect for just the two of us. Bed was comfortable, we had a window with a tree outside which was very nice to wake up to. AC worked well. Rooftop is cool, say up there one morning with a free coffee just soaking in the views. Very well equipped kitchens! Free soap in the showers. Loads of chill out communal space, nice calm social vibe, plenty of desks and chargers and chairs. We liked it enough to book another two nights and only stayed here while in Kyoto!

“Would recommend for affordable social hostel”
I stayed in a female dorm room. I was first concerned about the lack of privacy due to the absense of curtains but it was actually fine. It’s easy to meet people here.

Super good location for getting anywhere in kyoto. Hostel itself was pretty great with a super nice socialising area and nice spacious rooms with comfy beds. Additionally we had an experience where one of the guests in our dorm was keeping people up at night and the situation was handled extremely well by the staff so I have nothing but praise for this!

Great staff. Second time I returned here. Will return again. Very friendly atmosphere in the hostel, which I think is in part due to the staff and their good attitude.

“Great Spot”
It's one of the liveliest social hostels I've been to. I wasn't really looking to be super social, but if you are, common room always packed and well suited to conversations and hanging out.

The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. All areas of the hostel were extremely clean. The location is perfect. Excellent kitchen facilities with free tea, coffee, spices , oil, salt etc. Great common areas which makes it great for meeting people, working or chilling. Will always recommend this hostel.
