Good for a stop when coming down from Alta and do some hiking in Lyngenalps. Nice views.

The atmosphere of the Viking cottages was wonderful. The cottages were surrounded by beautiful mountains and the landscape was amazing. There were owners two dogs and horses in the yard. In addition, there was a dog park near the cottages that was free to use.

The cabins were well equipped, and comfortable. The best feature were the large windows in the living room, which gave us an amazing view.

Great place to explore the area! The wooden cabins are like in a fairy tale. Haakon was extremely helpful and gave us excellent suggestions on how to maximise our stay!

Location of the cabis was really beautiful and peacefull. There was really nice landscapes and there was allso sheeps at the yard.

Nice place for staying in the Lyngen Alps. The house is spacious and comfortable with kitchen and bathroom and wonderful view to the mountains. There are a lot places for trekking, mountains, glaciers, lakes. A beautiful large waterfall is located in fifteen minutes walk from the house. It takes fifteen minutes to get to the nearest supermarket by car. We are really enjoyed staying here!

Location on Lyngen Peninsula perfect. Large and good equipped cottage.

“Great place in great scenery”

Viking cabins is a great place. We had the big house (Artic lodge) in the winter (March). The house is very cosy, also in the wintertime, a stove e.g. would add on to the great feeling already. There is everything (e.g. in the kitchen) there to have a happy stay, if you are nine people (which the house would host) maybe one bathroom is a bit scarce. The house really, also from the outside has a very specialö ambiente. It is close to many interesting points inthe Lyngen Alps. You only don't have a view, as it is located half in the forest. The other four smaller cabins have a great view from the hill to the coast and the Lyngen Alps. Haakon is a phantastic host with endless knowledge on everything. You can end up in his viking-hall-bureau, which is overwhelming itself, discussing the world up and down. It's a great pleasure staying at Haakons place, therefore we already come back this summer. Maybe then we will use the sauna in the sauna-house, which we missed out in March. On our last evening we finally saw phantastic nortern lights right in fron of the cabin!

“Magical, Peaceful, Unmissable”

Upon arrival at Viking Cabins we were warmly greeted by the host. He is one of the calmest and most welcoming people we ever met, he even printed out a list of activities we could do in the area. The property has everything you need and has some beautiful joinery, you feel like you're in a fairytale! We were awestruck by the scenery and the peace that was surrounding us. We saw the Northern Lights 2 out of 3 nights that we were there at the beginning of January. It was a beautiful experience and we're already planning to go back.
