The house is beautiful and spacious with all the necessary amenities. It’s spotless clean and the outdoor sauna is a big plus we enjoyed it a lot. The host the friendly. We really enjoyed this stay. Also the supermarket is right next door super convenient

“Wonderful.”

This home could be the highlight of your Japan vacation. It's a traditional Japanese song with fusuma and tatami, plus every modern convenience. It's a little hard to find but it's a treasure located right beside an ancient shrine. The home is also located minutes away from good restaurants and if you have a bike or a car close to attraction such as the marine centre. The staff are gracious on your arrival and then leave you alone to enjoy your stay. Stayed for two nights I wish we stayed for a week.

“Perfect Stay”

For us, it was one of the best houses we ever booked via booking.com for our vacation. During our stay we felt the traditional Japanese Lifestyle. It was exactly what we were looking for to experience the original japanese flair with all the woden rooms and furniture. The accomodation was very clean, perfectly equipped, well located (a big supermarket is nearby) and just comfortable. The host were beyond friendly and answered all of our questions very fast. We would love to come back!

“Beyond our expectations”

Such a lovely and atmospheric location - almost within the nearby shrine. Lovely clean place and considerate (english speaking) host who dropped by to ensure all was OK. Clean and comfortable and we could even watch Netflix which my sons enjoyed. Not far from Kushimoto port and you can walk or bus to the Southernmost part of Japan's mainisland. Beauitiful. Not far from terrific places to eat. We dined at JuJu's - wonderful host who spoke some English and made sure we enjoyed our meal - we just gave him a budget (~Y3K each) and it kept on comein!

“Spacious calm guesthouse in beautiful surrounding”

The guesthouse is spacious and beautifully arranged according to Japanese aesthetic standards. We had a wonderful calm stay in Kushimoto and enjoyed the sauna. The host was so helpful and friendly. There is a beach nearby and beautiful nature.

The Sauna had to be paid extra, which was not communicated before.

The accommodation is very traditional and the amenities were all very proper.

The manager is wonderfully friendly. We love the Japanese traditional tatami style house. The place is clean, everything that the travelers needs and you will get it in this house.

“Lovely modern Japanese living in a cosy location.”

This ground floor house is in a very quiet area next door to a Shrine about 12 mins walk south of Shirahama station on flat roads. The house is lovely - staying here is a beautiful way to experience modern Japanese living. Large bedroom for two people with comfortable futon beds. Living room plus lounge room and large kitchen. Laundry and bathroom are down one end and very private. The owner is a lovely man who was happy to pick us up upon arrival and show us around the house.

“Kushimoto's Choice”

Perfect stay for us in Kushimoto! Japanese style home was huge and could easily accomodate a large family, fully equipped with all the amenities (kitchen, bathroom, bedroom). Not forgetting that owner is extremely hospitable as well. Would not hesitate to choose Guesthouse Mori again when visiting Kushimoto

Location near a shrine and forest. Close to a great supermarket. The sauna was lovely. It was a cold night and the sauna really warmed us up. It was really nice having our own kitchen, bathroom, bedroom to enjoy to ourselves. The humidifier was an added bonus seeing we slept with the heater on.

Everything was perfect. The house is convenient, very clean and very well furnished. Also, there is a supermarket nearby where you can buy local products. We really enjoyed our stay there.
