“fab location for hiking in the `sächsiche schweiz`.”
lovely location with views of the river Elbe and the mountains. perfect for the ferry, which is free with your guest pass. fantastic hiking area. the hotel has a very good and reasonable restaurant with a good selection of wines etc. we went in April, so the surrounding restaurants were still in winter mode, I suppose. Might be very busy in summer. Note that the trainline with very frequent trains runs rather close, i.e. right next to the hotel. We could hear it when we were having dinner. However, not a problem for us as we were staying in the apartment buildings a few hundred yards away though.

“everything was perfect, we enjoy”
wonderful view on the mountains! comfortable and pleasant place! Clean. 3 minutes from railway station! 5 minutes to the ferry. They gave the tickets for the ferry for the whole period of stay. It is near the most beautiful places - Bastei Rocks . Nice different foot routes. It was a wonderful place to visit. The Bastei rocks looked amazing and very special. The Amselsee lake was peaceful.

“Great location - A hotel that is only suitable for Germans with German Language skills”
Breakfast and location were amazing! Restaurant staff were super friendly. The hotel had also a great restaurant. Views were stunning.
