Kuremäe Hostel is located in a quiet, green area, in the close vicinity of the Kuremäe Convent. It offers accommodation in homely rooms and a wooden cottage, all with free Wi-Fi. The hostel is a part of a historic pharmacy, once belonging to the nearby monastery. The bathroom facilities are situated on the second floor of the building. Breakfast is served in the café, offering also lunches and dinners. Guests can relax in the garden offering a terrace and public parking. Kuremäe Hostel is situated 17 km from the town of Ahtme and 22 km from the town of Jõhvi. There is the Alutaguse Fitness Center 10 km away.

it is certainly good for the monastery. I think it is the only place in the area where food is served and the food is good. get all you need before it closes at 8pm. The bus service from Johvi is quite good. The monastery is worth a visit. Inside is beautiful though unfortunately no photography not allowed inside. The Russian Orthodox service I saw in the late afternoon was the nicest religious service I have ever seen anywhere, Visitors can stand quietly at the back. Though at night the monastery is closed behind a wall.

“Nice stay for a night”
Great location if you wish to visit the monastery - located next to the hostel. Very peaceful and healthy location in the middle of forests and fields - good to breathe! Breakfast was sufficient yet basic.

“excellent hostel in a lovely village”
Clean and comfortable. Family run, very friendly and helpful. The food is fantastic. Center of Kuremäe and close to bus stop, convent and springs. I highly recommend.
