The host was super welcoming, friendly and spoke amazing English. The hostel had such a lovely atmosphere as well and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The cats were also really cute

Place has a really nice energy. And the owner was lovely.

Great location close to shops and restaurants and a 10 minute walk from the train station. You can rent bicycles and easily reach the beautiful forested mountains and oceans that surround the area.

“Great stay and amazing host”

The guesthouse is a cozy traditional house that makes the stay feel great. The host is an amazing person you can chat with about many interesting things! She takes amazing care of everything. We were cycling through the islands and the guesthouse has an indoor garage to leave your bikes.

The host is creating a very vibrant and pleasant place. Especially the evenings in the common space were something special!

“Cant recommend enough”

A lovely and clean building which feels almost like you're living in a Japanese home for a few days. The host is one of the nicest people if met in Japan which says a lot because almost everyone is nice here. Sinds my 1.5 months of travel this has been the best place I have stayed so far. Thank you for having me!

“Silly wonderful host 😁”

The rooms were beautiful, but the best part of this hostel is the host.She will make you smile every chance she gets and she's really helpful. She's a bundle of goofy cuteness. The atmosphere is great for hanging out and getting to know fellow backpackers, but enough space to relax on your own.

Rina-san runs a very neat hostel that is open to all travellers! The experience was amazing and she really emphasasises the local attractions, compared to the touristy ones! When i go back to hiroshima, I will book my stay at otomachi kanran!!!!

“Great hostel!”

The host Rina is very kind, super helpful and has good restaurant recommendations! Charming old house has been converted into a hostel/bar and is full of character. I stayed in a private room, which was excellent and good value for money.

“Chill fun atmosphere”

Super chill and friendly atmosphere. Rina the host is great fun.

The hostel was so beautiful and the staff is just amazing. In the evening they sometimes perform some music which was great. The atmosphere is very relaxed and social there and you will easyly meet people. You can rent there bikes for very cheap and go for a trip to the nearby islands what i really enjoyed. For me it was probably the best hostel i ever stayed in.

Really good vibe the staff were amazing! Most weekends they have live music artists from around the country.

“Wished i stayed a few days longer”

Located within a short walking distance to the nearest train station, good place to stay if you are planning to visit Kure for a few days. In the evening the first floor becomes a bar filled with friendly locals you can talk to, good place to stay in you like to mingle with the locals. The host Rina is also very friendly and helpful, especially when giving pointers around the town.

“Very cute and comfy hostel”

Very cute hostel, 10min walk from the train station. The common space which is also a cafe is super nice, I had the curry for dinner and it was delicious! All amenities present, super clean, very sweet staff.
