“A great accommodation experience”

The host and his wife was extremely warm and welcoming, making my day in the Conan Town truly enjoyable. I also experienced traditional Japanese tea ceremony in the evening. The room was clean and comfortable. I hope to visit again someday!

We enjoy our accomodation in this house, the owner is so hospitable and help us to arrange a local dinner and Japanese tea ceremony with a teacher too. Uncle display all his hobby and his house is full of his Conan Detective collection. His house is also near to the places of interest. Highly recommended!

The owners are such nice and lovely people, they are very friendly and ready to help when you're in need. We had to leave soon after we arrived, so I can't say a lot about the beds and the night stay

It was a great experience to stay at Minpaku Yorozuya. It was an interesting experience to live like a local in a tatami room. The owners of the property are very nice and hospitable people. In the owners' house, you can see a large collection of things related to the famous anime "Detective Conan". In addition, the respected owner showed us very beautiful lamps that he makes himself, and in the evening the owners kindly offered us to try a traditional Japanese tea ceremony with a sensei with the opportunity to make our own green tea. They also treated us to delicious baked sweet potatoes and gave us souvenirs related to the anime. It was very nice. At Yura Station, where the property is located, there are many interesting locations dedicated to the anime Detective Conan. If you are a fan of this anime, or just interested in Japanese culture and traditions, you should definitely stay at this friendly house.

“Conan's Heaven”

Yorozuya-san and wife were our perfect host. His love for Conan was shown throughout the place. Sharing his collection was our main highlight. He help us to bring our luggage to Station near our train time. He drive us to school to see Conan and Ran goes to school statue, which is quite far if you walk. His house was located in front of Ran Statue. He also told us several secrets. I have been here in Conan town several times, and i could say, i usually skipped both statues due to their distances were far from other statues. So I really feel complete on this trip.

“Lovely guest house and wonderful hosts.”

The hosts were very lovely and welcoming, providing an annotated map of notable spots around town. Accommodation is very spacious for a single traveller. Lots of Detective Conan goods displayed as well as the hosts' handmade washi/cloth lamps. Rooms and facilities clean and well maintained. Location is convenient as Detective Conan tourist spots, convenience store and dining options are all accessible by foot. Hosts went above and beyond with their service, including a free optional tea class with sensei as well as transport back to the station at the end of the stay. Thank you for the sweet potatoes for the trip back!

“One of the best experiences we had on our 5 weeks Japan trip”

Really comfortable place and you can walk to all Conan attractions. Best of all are the hosts who will do everything to make you and especially your kids have a great time. Highly recommended!

“Lovely house and wonderful owners”

The property was near Conan town. We arrived very late at night but the owner was warm and enthusiastic throughout. He did his best to communicate with us despite the language barrier, introducing the town attractions and even wrote us a memo in English recommending us restaurants. The rooms were clean and new.

The house is spacious and the host is very nice and helpful! We had a wonderful stay!

amazing host, price and place

Cannot recommend this place enough! The owners were super friendly and helped us figure out the best route to get to see all the attractions. They even invited us to a matcha ceremony and showed us around a bit! If you happen to want to visit Hokuei, you need to check out this place. We will be back again, for sure :)

“The perfect Conan accommodation”

The owners were super nice. They drove me from yura station and were kind enough to allow me to check in quite late. They also lent their bike to cycle around town which made visiting everything easy. They are also super knowledgeable about the Conan attractions nearby and helped planned my day so I visited everything. They are also super pleasant to converse with and only accept one booking every night. I cannot over state this enough but this is really the epitome of Japanese service and worth every dollar. There is really nothing to criticise or nit pick. They treat you like family and ensure you have the best stay possible.

“Perfect place to stay while in Conan Town”

The owner was friendly and helpful, and he went above and beyond by helping us plan our sightseeing in Conan Town. Was not aware that the guesthouse provided bicycles free of charge to use while we went sightseeing. The room is spacious and is very clean. the same goes for the amenities in the guesthouse. A must stay if you are in town to visit Conan Town (Yura).
