Loved the sauna!

Everything was perfect , the kind & friendly host . his delicious and luxurious breakfast. The traditional finnish sauna with the lake views was an experience it self . The countryside nature is so beautiful . The host is so kind and helpful . I highly recommend everyone to stay here .

We loved the breakfast. In spite of a fully booked b&b, the inn was quiet and peaceful. Mista, “the inn dog” was such a sweetie, we loved seeing her every time we came through. We also ended up adding a night to our stay, and though the place was booked, our host went out of his way to find us a space so we could stay and enjoy one more evening at the Terwaviikko tar pit. We had a very relaxing time, with a sauna reservation every evening!

Very charming guest house in the very beautiful location - from the inner yard you walk straight to the private beach. The host welcomed us very warmly and despite late hour of our arrival (10pm) we were offered free sauna round (wooden heated sauna was amazing!). The owner's dog Mista was the most cute and friendly. The place has exceeded my expectations. Excellent breakfast, very clean rooms and facilities, very polite and welcoming personnel, original old building with long history. Strongly recommend any traveller to stay in Hiekkaranta Bed & Breakfast.

Everything was very nice. We loved the free sauna and access to the lake, the breakfast and the friendliness of the the stuff. Surriundigns where also very nice to visit.

“Perfect country relaxation in Kuortane”

This cosy b&b is located by a beautiful lake in Kuortane. The host was very friendly and was happy to tell about the history of the house; The b&b has been operating since the 1930s! There was also a lovely dog called Mista, which was a pleasant surprise because I love dogs. Like the entire house, the room decor was country romantic. There was a comfy double bed, bedside tables, a mirror table, a fan and disinfectant bottle for hand cleaning (good thing because of the corona). The bathroom and toilets are shared but because the place is small (not so many people staying), the bathrooms were not crowded and we could do our tooth brushing etc. in peace. The breakfast was customary but the ingredients were high quality and the dishes were cooked well and they tasted good (except the coffee). Overall, this place exceeded my expectations, I truly felt that I was valued as a guest. The sauna and a swim at the lake culminated our evening. Highly recommend, and wish to visit again some time!
