Very pleasant stay. The hotel is located in a beautiful historic building that has been nicely converted while keeping its character. I visited during a very cold period, and the room was warm and cozy, which I really appreciated. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. Breakfast was simple but perfectly adequate. Visitors should also know that there is a kitty living on the premises. We really enjoyed playing with her, but guests with allergies should be aware. Overall, a charming and comfortable place to stay.

Unfortunately, the idea of a boutique hotel turned out to be quite different. There was an overwhelming amount of furniture, much of it sourced from Dutch flea markets, and it was piled into the room in excess. Room no. 15 was so full that it was nearly impossible to move around – large armchairs with frames, old worn-out furniture pieces everywhere. The TV was odd, seemingly from the last century, and only offered German-speaking channels. All the staff spoke English, so this channel selection was a bit of a mystery. I wanted to take a shower – okay, I tried – but the water pressure was nonexistent. Just a weak trickle… oh well, I’ll sleep dirty. But the real highlight? A floor lamp… I’ll add a photo later so you can see what I mean 🤣 Breakfast was completely standard, like in most accommodations – nothing special. The building itself is beautiful, but the location is questionable – unpleasant views, either a shabby stadium or a direct line of sight into a garage. The hotel could really consider offering guests bikes or scooters to get into the charming, though a bit worn, old town. A town with great potential… Don’t expect gourmet food – just enjoy the local beer instead!

The reception staff were excellent. The receptionist was extremely helpful and went out of her way to assist with a non-standard request, which I truly appreciated. The level of service was professional, attentive, and welcoming, making the overall stay much more pleasant. The hotel itself has a beautiful interior and a very distinctive, cozy atmosphere. Our children especially loved the friendly hotel cat, which added a lovely personal touch to the stay. A great example of outstanding customer service and character.

Very nice, friendly staff, beautiful old fashioned interior, functioning bathroom and comfy beds, fresh sheets. Have some board games to play in the room. The vibe is very retro and nice, dont expect some perfect renovation, completely modern place. It has a rustic vibe. We didnt have food there so idk about that.
