This hotel is picturesquely set in the beautiful Mecklenburg bay in the town of Kuehlungsborn, which is one of the largest and most beautiful Baltic Sea resorts. The nearby beach offers you a vast array of activities. Sunbathe, take a stroll along the long sandy beach, or have a dip in the refreshing Baltic Sea. Wander along the boardwalk promenade to the marina and the sea bridge, enjoy the sunset on the recently constructed Ostseeallee with its sophisticated flair. Soak up the ambience, enjoy the stunning sea view and take in some relaxed hours in this healthy climate. The light breezes of the Baltic Sea attract visitors at all times of year. During high season, it is only possible to stay from Sunday to Sunday.

“Relaxing place to chill. I would come back there.”
Regular German breakfast, overall ok. The location is the main asset. The hotel is located about 200 meters from the beach. There are a view cafe's and restaurants nearby and even the small town center is about 10mins away on foot. If you want to go to the city of Rostock or Warnemünde I recommend a car. Public transport is available but takes over an hour to get there.

“Very authentic and retro hotel with 70s vibe”
It is such a retro hotel we felt like we travelled in time. The hotel has such a good vibe. It was very authentic. It felt like they literally didn’t change anything since 70s. We would definetly go there again! Breakfast was also very good. They even had a butter maschine:D the hotel itself is so cool we would go there again! Just for the vibe we get there.

The location is good, close to the beach. The facilities are nice. The rooms were clean, breakfast was really good and plentiful, and the lounge is a nice place to spend time. Would recommend for a night or two if you want to stay close to the beach and train station, but don't expect everything to go smoothly

The daily cleaning is fine. However the hotel needs some renovation or deep cleaning in the bathroom. The shower head in particular was disgustingly mouldy. The walls of the shower as well. The lobby of the hotel has a strong bad smell that also needs to be investigated and addressed properly.
