Overview
Duyong Marina & Resort is located in Palau Duyong, a 7-minute drive to Kuala Terengganu International Airport. The resort features an outdoor pool, fitness room and free Wi-Fi. We used to stay there one time last year and this was our second time stay..fairly speaking it was a good stay during our first but not the second one.Our first stay,everything was quite good,the room,the facilities,etc.however during the second stay we found out that the water quality was quite bad..as we filled in the bath tub we could see the water was cloudy and there were a lot of mosquitoes too in the room which quite disturbing our sleep during the stay.The facilities in the room was not complete as we expected and the balcony was dusty too.

“Not work RM300 per night which I paid for my stay here.”
I have multiple observations - 1. Checkin time is 3:00pm. I arrived at receiption at ~4:30pm & I was told that it will take 30 more minutes to get my room coz the room was getting cleaned. Then why the checkin time is set to 3:00pm ? 2. I told the lady in receiption the same point. Then she suddenly changed her statement and said room is ready ! (Which was actually not) 3. When we arrived in our room, we saw the room was still getting cleaned and it was dusty. I assumed that the cleaning guy received a call from receiption and he was in hurry. The floor was most likely not mopped and this was the reason why we saw the dusts. 4. We could not park our car in front of the room. The central parking space is in front of the receiption and the rooms are like far from the receiption. So you have to drive as close as possible to your rooms coz you need to carry your luggage as well. I do not mind carrying my luggage by myself but the parking facility should be in-front of every cottage/room. 5. The bathroom fittings are extremely low maintained. 6. The breakfast was OK, not great, just OKey. 7. The only good part I feel about this hotel is the view from restaurant & breakfast area. That’s it. My final comment is - I paid around RM300 per night to stay here but the facility & experience is not worth RM300 in my opinion.

The room is not clean, the bathtub is faulty even after requesting for a room change. Still the floor full of dust, toilet is not clean. Also there were 30mins blackout at night with 3 years old boy sweating

“Such a shame, an opportunity missed.”
The location was very nice however there was no food available on the site. There was a room service menu in the room and when I rang for a meal was told that there was no room service and we would have to get a taxi into town. This was not mentioned at check in. We were told that the breakfast we had paid for would be delivered to our room at 7.30am! It took me some time to get this changed to 9am which I consider to be the earliest we like to eat breakfast whilst on holiday. Not a good start to our stay. When checking out we were told at reception that they couldn’t order a taxi to the departure wharf for our ferry to Redang Island. It was only when the manager appeared that transport was arranged.
