Overview
Just 3 km from the German border, a few minutes’ drive from Kollund, this holiday village has a grocery store and a large outdoor pool. All cottages include a fully equipped kitchen. Each cottage at Frigård also has a terrace, seating area and a flat-screen TV with DVD player. Toilets and showers are either private or shared. Guests at Frigård Camping & Cottages can play petanque and other ball games on the premises, and Wi-Fi and on-site parking are free. The pool area features a hot tub, sauna and steam bath. A sandy beach on the Flensborg Fjord is only 5 minutes’ walk from the cottages, while the Frøslevlejren World War 2 Museum is about 15 minutes’ drive away. Frigård Camping & Cottages' staff can help arrange fishing, hiking and other activities.

Cottage was clean, warm and cozy. Kitchennet has basic equipment (pan, pots, cutting board, ...), fridge, 2 spots cooker, kettle and coffee maker and vacume cleaner and other cleaning suplies. Parking just next to a cottage. Huge playground for kids!!

“extra charges not listed”
got hit with an email right after i booked stating that there would be extra charges for cleaning, linen and other. no info to be found about how much the extra charges would be and no reply to communication from the property over weeks. will not reccomend.

Value for money. We just stayed one night, arriving late and leaving early (outside reception times) but arrangements made worked very smooth.

“Disappointed showerer”
We stayed only for a night on our way to Norway. The cottage had comfortable sleeping arrangements. And I believe the extra facilities such as pool, and beach might sound enticing although we came too late in the evening to use that. Seems to be a nice enough place for family stay.

We rented two of the older, small cottages with two families (4 adults/4 kids) and enjoyed our stay mostly because of the facilities the kids could use (pool, playgrounds, bouncy castle ...). There is so much to do and explore for kids that everyone had a relaxing holiday. The beach is in a walkable distance - small but nice to spend the day. Beds were comfy, also upstairs. If you have small children, the steep stairs might be a challenge. The beds upstairs are probably 1,80m long. We didn't visit the restaurant on the camp site.
