Hotel & Restaurant Pod Kaštany is situated in Krupka in Krušné Mountains, between the towns of Teplice and Ústím nad Labem. The ruins of a castle from 14th century and a funicular to the Komáří Vížka Peak can be found in the village. Free private parking is available. Everything was great, from check in to check out, room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We enjoyed our stay even though it was short.

I booked this stay expecting a room like the ones shown in the pictures, but unfortunately, the photos are from the new building, while I was given a room in the rooftop of the old one. The room had a bad smell, was not comfortable, and the windows couldn’t even close properly to block the sunlight. On top of that, there was no room cleaning service during my entire stay — towels were dirty and never changed. Very disappointing experience overall.

Very nice room and friendly staff. Plenty parking space. The breakfast was not too elaborate but plenty choices. The restaurant had delicious food.

“Unfair”
Unfair offer. The price offered by booking.com was 76.50 euros. On site, the hotel demanded 87.90 euros, claiming that the offer presented on the website was for cash payment, while for card payments a higher price was valid, for which an invoice was issued.
