Exceptional staff. Obviously a great location. As all JUFA Hotels, good amenities for children in both the breakfast room, play room and outside.

This place was cool. I was just looking for a reasonably priced hotel in the centre of Kronach. I did not pay too much attention to the description - but you really are staying in a crazy old castle. It's like something from a Disney movie - "tell the guards to open up the gates!" The location is amazing, the staff were friendly, the breakfast was good.

“They service is extremely bad”

Extremely bad, thw road is so terrible. I ask for help and arrange me a car to the parking garage, But she said can't help me. service is extremely terrible. I will never come back.

A modern hotel located in the Fortress of Rosenberg. A neat, cosy room with perfectly clean bathroom and a toilet. A very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast. A parking place on the site.

The location and views from the hotel are superb. The breakfast supplied was adequate although the food was far from hot, warm at most. Good restaurant at the same location not part of the hotel.

We have been staying here already third time and again great service and we enjoyed it a lot.

Me and my son made a tour around Fränkische Alp to look at castles and other historical landmarks. We also stayed in some of the castles. We are more into castles of a more "medieval" character, but even though this castle is more of a 17th century fort it still gave us plenty of cool atmosphere. However, this account for the exterior. The interior, especially the rooms, are completely modern. But as the room was very nice and clean it did not bother us. The castle is well situated near the historical old town with several various restaurants serving also more 'modern' food (We ate at a Greek). The staff was helpful, the room clean, and the breakfast was good. If you are interested in castles we suggest to also take a trip to the castle Veste Coburg further to the West. It has an amazing museum of old arms and armoury.

Breakfast was excellent, far in excess of expectations. The room was pretty, clean, so spacious and had wonderful views. Very well set out for a family of 4. Good hot water in the shower, and a fantastic playground that the kids (10 and 12) loved.

Atmosphere of the Festung and room design were unique. Restaurant in front of the hotel was great too.
