We absolutely loved our stay here and even ended up extending it. Spela and Robin are wonderful hosts who made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. The apartment is perfectly situated—tucked away in a quiet, peaceful spot, yet just a stone's throw from the center. The real highlight is the garden oasis. It feels a bit like Provence, filled with the scents of lavender, rosemary, and cypress trees, with a beautiful swimming pool nestled among the olives and oaks. The double room was very well-equipped and features a lovely balcony overlooking the bay. The combination of the beautiful location and the genuine warmth of our hosts made this a truly memorable stay. We cannot recommend it highly enough!

Beautiful apartment with everything you need for a short or longer stay. Extremely helpfull owner ,who gave us a lot of information and it was pleasure talking to him.The presence of private parking in the property and the walking distance from the center are huge advantages. Quiet and a wonderful view from the terrace to the city and the bay.

“Villa Splendissima makes for a truly splendid holiday.”

Lovely place with splendid garden, sea view and big pool in walking distance to the beaches. It’s quite a steep walk back, though. The owners were wonderful and very accommodating. The apartments were well equipped with dishwashers, oven in one and washing machine in the pool facing apartment we rented. Would definitely want to come back.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Villa Splendissima for three nights and absolutely loved it. Robin and Spela were really kind and welcoming, which made us feel at home right away. Our apartment was clean and well-equipped, and the view from the balcony was just beautiful. The location was perfect to reach the center of Krk by walk and was also a great base for reaching some lovely beaches around the island. One of our favorite parts was the garden: so well kept, full of greenery and flowers, with a pool and comfy loungers where we spent hours just relaxing, sunbathing and reading. Everything about the place felt peaceful and perfect for a relaxing break. We were really sad to leave and are already thinking about coming back next year!

“Lovely stay, lovely town, lovely host”

Robin is a fantastic host - friendly, helpful and generous. I wish I had read my messages prior to arrival, as he kindly offered to pick us up from the station, but I didn't see the offer till after we had walked from the town in the pouring rain! However, he offered us a "medicinal" welcome drink, and helpfully explained how everything worked, and told us where the nearest shops were - we felt very welcomed to the Villa. We were only there for a couple of days, but enjoyed our time - the studio apartment was really well equipped (though we didn't really use the kitchen), the gardens are beautiful, and the pool was lovely. We went to the restaurant next to the shop (Bistro Top - like many other shops and restaurants in Krk is cash only) the first night - it was just what was needed - cosy and nearby! Then we took up Robin's recommendation of the Konobo Nono which was great - the restaurant makes its own olive oil and bread - superb! The food is great, but the trip back to the Villa is uphill - a good reason to have a drink on the balcony and enjoy Villa Splendissima's peace and quiet.

Fully equipped and really welcoming hosts! Only would recommend for a group of friends! Beach is also just a few steps.

“Hospitality at its best”

We stayed two nights at a studio apartment. The personal welcome of Robin and his partner Spela made us feel right at home. A tasty welcome drink topped off the first impression. Villa Splendissima is a beautiful little gem far away from mass tourism. Low key, genuine and quiet. A beautifully landscaped garden and a nice pool to relax and read a good book. Centrally located in Krk so all the places you want to visit are within easy reach. We will return!

“Beautiful Villa”

I stayed with a group of friends here after flying into Rijeka International Airport. The villa is so charming and peaceful with lots of different spaces to hang out and enjoy views of Krk Town. It is only a short walk to Punta Di Galetto beach and then into town. Wish we had stayed longer!

Absolutely loved our little apartment in Krk. Robyn and his wife were the loveliest people and were wonderful hosts making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The apartment was better than the pictures, super clean, stylish, comfortable and very well equipped. A very quiet location and only a short walk to town. Very highly recommend.

Everything was very good. Silent and green place. Nice view from the balcony to the sea. Optimal location: 5-7 minutes walk from city center, so no problem with parking and noise. Kitchen is fully equipped, even with a dishwasher. Own pool, which is not small and very clean. But the main value is very friendly and attentive hosts, who can help you with all the questions.
