This is such a wonderful guesthouse. It's in a great location, only a 5 minute walk from the VET bus stop, nearby plenty of restaurants and just opposite the port for the ferry. The rooms are large, with a decent bathroom, lots of storage and good Aircon. Upstairs there is a restaurant which does food and drink all day. They have plenty of breakfast options from eggs to pancakes, as well as lunch and dinner menus. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and extremely hard working. The hotel also runs the dolphin kayak tours which are brilliant.

Great stay! Super friendly, service oriented, and great English soeaking personnel. Rooftop restaurant and bar overlooking the river, amazing sunsets. Delicious food. Great brand new rooms with new AC. Super comfortable beds. The shower and the toilet are separate. The room and everything super clean and fresh. The guesthouse offers dolphin kayaking tours and all the other help you need.

“Excellent guest house - great value and the dolphin tour is incredible”

Excellent value guesthouse in Kratie. It’s an easy 5 minute walk from the Vetbus drop off. Rooms are spacious clean and comfortable are cleaned daily with new fresh water each morning. Shower and aircon also very good. The restaurant on the top floor gives lovely views over the Mekong and serves reasonable quality food . The staff are all very friendly and speak great English. The guesthouse is very well known for the dolphin tours and I did the half day version which was excellent value and we saw a lot of dolphins. You can pay for everything in dollars, riel or by card with no additional fee.

A fabulous guesthouse in every way. Great room, A/C was great and very good food. The staff were exceptional. The dolphin kayak tour shouldn’t be missed- Ben was a great guide.

“Perfect Place”

Firstly - the location is stunning, right on the riverfront and the views from the restaurant are amazing, sunset was stunning! My room was HUGE! I was in a business class room, it was spotlessly clean and the bed was so comfortable. The garden outside was so lovely too. The staff were all super helpful and friendly, I felt comfortable being on my own! The guest house also runs kayaking tours on the Mekong to see the dolphins, this was so perfectly organised, we were looked after so well by our guide from start to finish, we were provided the most delicious snacks and it’s probably a highlight of my whole time away. There is a restaurant onsite where you can get breakfast lunch and dinner, I had the most delicious meals, super simple not fuss food, perfect. They have a mixture or western and delicious Khmer food. Please give this place a try!

The hotel is perfectly located with convenient access to the ferry and plenty of great restaurants nearby. Its own restaurant is also a standout, serving delicious food with stunning views. The hotel even arranged our kayaking tour, making the whole experience smooth, easy, and completely hassle-free.

“just what was needed for an overnight stay”

Perfect location along teh river front, close to the ferry to the island, The water was hot and the room had plenty of space perfect overnight stop.

This was one of the best stays I've had in Cambodia! The rooms were very clean and comfortable. It was a very friendly and welcoming stay. The restaurant/bar upstairs was a great vibe with amazing sunset views.

The room was very spacious and nicely equiped. Mine also had a little terrace which was very nice as well. The food was amazing and the view from the restaurant is great to watch the sunset over Mekong. But most of all, the staff was very nice and willing to answer all kind of questions. They also organize kajaktours to see the dolfins. The tour was very nice - besides seeing the dolfins it‘s a nice scenic route.

“Great guesthouse overlooking Mekong, loved it.”

Only stayed for one night on a stop over. Guesthouse was perfect for us. Very comfortable bed & a great shower. Ate in their restaurant which has an Italian theme and the pizza was excellent. Staff were so friendly and helpful all the time (all of them). Loved the exposed brickwork on the walls in bedroom. Great view of the Mekong (and sunset) from our room at the front. Decent breakfast, real orange juice which is a rarity on our travels.

The staff were so great. They were so welcoming and helpful - it was awesome. The rooms were modern and very spacious. WiFi was super strong, AC was good, location was good. Pretty much everything was really good!!

From the moment we arrived, hot and sweaty from a long bus trip, we knew we had made a good choice by staying at Sorya. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and cold, the food was great and the view from the top floor (restaurant) was beautiful!

The room (dormitory) is well furnished, well organised and clean. The stuff was welcoming and helpful.
