Offering a private beach, a marina and access to world-class diving, the all-inclusive Van der Valk Plaza Beach & Dive Resort Bonaire is located 3 km south of Bonaire's charming capital city, Kralendijk. Van der Valk Plaza Beach & Dive Resort Bonaire features a variety of activities including boat rentals and an outdoor pool. Guests can explore the scenic area on a rented bicycle or scooter, or spend the day relaxing in the on-site spa. Sailing, kayaking and snorkelling are included. In this all inclusive resort, all meals are served at the oceanfront Tipsy Seagull. Guests can enjoy lunch, snacks and handcrafted cocktails and refreshing beverages at the Palm Beach Bar.

“My stay had thoughtful highlights, but issues significantly impacted my overall experience”
The room was nicely decorated on my request, free of charge for my birthday with balloons and champagne, which I appreciated. The next day, I also enjoyed the delicious cake and wine that were brought to my room. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were served on time, and the beds were comfortable.

“Never again.”
500 euro a night. Because of construction hotel rooms no power on our room till 19u so no airco, no wifi, and next day power off at 10 am. Coffee machine broken, ceeling fin broken, all inclusive but empty fridge, not even water. All the people and one bar so wait 15 min to order a drink. Also zero communication about construction. We will never come back. Note! I rarely give bad review, only the good or i say nothing but this time i am realy feeling bad treated.

“Nice big resort with many improvement points”
Overall the hotel is quite nice. The pool and beach are spacious and well kept. The bar has great food and drink choice. Staff overall was very nice. The part of the hotel where we were was the more modern one and that was really nice. The older buildings seemed more outdated and I personally wouldn’t advice staying there. Food at the restaurant was very good and high quality. In front of the hotel there’s a small reef where you can snorkel. Last but not least, they have a shower service that you can access after you check out from your room. Great to get refreshed before flying out.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our entire visit — a special shoutout to the team at the pool bar who made every day even more enjoyable with their great service and warm attitude. The hotel grounds are beautiful, offering a relaxing and picturesque environment. The food exceeded our expectations, with a variety of delicious options available daily. We also appreciated the complimentary beverage upgrade, which was a lovely touch that made our experience even better. Another great advantage is that the hotel offers extra services on-site, such as car rentals and diving lessons, which made planning activities super convenient. We would definitely recommend this place and would love to return in the future!

The food was of good quality and the staf in the restaurants are really nice and friendly. If you order a drink ask what drinks are canned. Coke and sprite is postmix (really bad)

great location, 20 min walk to the city center, fantastic hotel reef where you can meet turtles, eagle rays, dolphins and lots of colorful fish, exceptional diving team at Toucan Diving, Lau, Sven and Spider deserve special mention, thank you for unforgettable moments under water and on the boat!
