We actually stayed in the Bujtina (Guesthouse) Leon as there was a water problem at the apartment (which we never saw). The guesthouse was charming. Liked the room, courtyard, quiet and couldn't-be-more-central location. Comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast and very friendly responsive owner and staff.

“Delicious traditional breakfast on light filled terrace”
We stayed in the guest house rather than the apartment as there was a technical issue issue with the apartment. The room in the guest house was rather small with little room for manoeuvre and no air conditioning. The bathroom was also small. However, it was spotless, adjacent to the town centre behind the cathedral. It is located in a quiet residential area. We were able to secure our bicycles on the property overnight. The outside courtyard is wonderful, spacious and bright and full of plants and the breakfast terrace is covered with vines for shade. Linda provided a fabulous traditional Albanian breakfast at linen covered tables. She explained all the dishes to us. Fruit followed by wheat porridge with feta, borek, mountain tea, orange juice and traditional deep fried pastries with cherry jam and feta cheese. A feast that sustained us on our cycle all the way to Kastoria. Korce is a lovely town to visit and Linda is an excellent host.

We had booked an apartment but we were given a double room in the family's other property, Bujtina Leon's Guesthouse. The room was lovely and comfortable and had an electric heater which was fab, as it was rainy and cold. It did mean we didn't have facilities to cook or make tea/coffee, but we were offered hot drinks from the Guesthouse. The relocation was not a problem for us at all, and the Ottoman style guesthouse is very atmospheric. The location is super, easy walking distance to everything. We had concerns about the erratic bus service between Korce and Gjirokastra but our landlady reassured us of the day and time which fitted in exactly with our plans. There was no issue phoning the owners for advice and information when we arrived.

Very very very clean and the owners were lovely and super nice. Less than 5 minutes walking to the center. Terrasse was very nice. Totally recommended.

“Cozy place”
The apartment was warm and very clean. The location is perfect, close to the restaurants and the city center. We had a pleasant stay :)
