Wonderful host, charming village

The place is absolutely beautiful, filled with taste and warmth; the beauty of the surrounding nature and the tranquility are magnificent. The hosts—especially Mitko and his family—were available for any request or inquiry. We went on several horseback riding tours amidst the breathtaking scenery, which was one of the most beautiful experiences we’ve ever had.

“Beautiful”

Amazing place! The house is so well kept, clean and cosy, the room was also very clean and comfortable. The host was so kind and welcoming. They made us an amazing big breakfast in the morning and then they took us horse riding in the mountain- it was beautiful, the horses are super friendly and well behaved and clean. It’s great value for money and we would definitely go again!

The room was really cosy in the traditional Bulgarian style. The location itself was really good-not in the centre itself but still very close to it. It is the last house on the road which gives you the bonus of the view towards the forest.

“Beautifully crafted warm home”

The house is beautifully crafted with amazing views to the mountains and it's really close to the centre. We stayed mid December and the house was nice and warm with lots of lovely Christmas decorations. The host is super friendly and welcoming. There's also the cutest dog and cat which welcome you. Highly recommend we'll be back!

It is an incredible property. The owners made us feel really welcome and made any effort to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable despite the bad weather. We enjoyed our stay very much and would book the same property anytime we are in the town. The rooms were beautifully decorated and cozy, the beds were comfortable and we had great night sleep and rest.

The staff were very nice. It had a cozy environment, the horses looked well taken care of and they allowed us to travel with our dogs for an extra.

I stayed at this guest house for the second time and again it was great. The staff is friendly and caring, the yard is beautiful - perfect for relaxation. Breakfast was home cooked and delicious. Highly recommend.

My rooms were beautiful. Lots of carved wood. The staff was really just one man who was always doing something but had time for a smile. Didn't speak much English, but we did just fine

Amazingly charming guest house with a view and even breakfast upon request. We stayed at the suite which was comfortable for our family and enjoyed the views of the town and the ever changing mountain from the little balcony. The weather didn’t allow for a horse ride when we were there but you can bring some treats and feed the horses. The host was nice and welcoming too. We will visit again

Amazing stay at Dona guest House. Nothing to complain. Great house with lively garden so close to the center and all the restaurants. For a small charge you get also a perfect breakfast.
