“Welcoming, cosy BNB”

Set in the very lovely quiet area of Kolind, it is within a ten minute drive to the Aarhus Airport which, to our surprise, was incredibly quiet as well. Jane, the host, couldn't be any more welcoming if she tried. She was truly a high spirited host who very kindly offered us a drink when we arrived around 10pm on the evening we were checking in. [25th May] This is very much a basic but suitable bed and breakfast for short stays, due to there being no facilities in the room for coffee, but we had such a wonderful nights rest with a feather pillow and duvet, in a warm room, with a shared bathroom. Our flight was at 7am, well before breakfast unfortunately, but Jane's hosting really made up for the things this place did not have. Smoking is not allowed inside but directly outside the front door there is a bench and an ashtray, and being in such a quiet area I felt safe and comfortable. We do plan to come back to Kolind again and stop, but would likely see about bringing travel mugs and a portable travel kettle. Do not let the little things get in the way though, because the area is so quiet and peaceful, although Jane explained some shops are struggling due to the cost of living crisis and the pandemic did no favours to the scenic town at all. I'd say this is an ideal location for lone travellers, or couples etc. I was here with my mom, and our two friends were booked into the room next door. You have sufficient access to a tram into Aarhus, it's a short trip to the airport and is definitely value for money whether you have breakfast or not.

Love this place, everything is great, I chose to extend my stay. Quiet area close to the airport. Good transport links to Aarhus and only 20 minutes (tram) to Grenaa. Comfortable room and bed, all areas clean and tidy. Shared bathroom is well maintained. Check-in & out was good and simple, excellent customer service; will definitely book again in future. Thank you 😊

Was shouted at by host cleaner,hysterical,claiming I had left frontdoor open in the morning. I was so upset that I did not sleep there the second nite and when I came back to check out,she came runnong after me,calling me a bitch,, two fingers and told me to F off. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR . The place was so substandard and I did not expect much but not Abuse ,I am Danish and know standards , YOU SHOULD NOT ACCEPT BUSINESS FROM PEOPLE LIKE THIS and I will complain Never again will I book with yoy

Very basic. Accomodation very bland, no facilities were offered to me. No towel. No atmosphere It was generally empty and Barron. I’ve stayed I’m many b&b this is a hostel not a b&b. The area is very quiet. Blanket and pillow uncomfortable.

Very nice reception and an overly friendly landlady. Good common/breakfast room. A great solution was given to store my bicycle safely over night. Compared to other offers around, value for money was okay-ish.
