We will remember this stay for a long time. We have been taken care for like family- such wonderful place surrounded by nature. The food was divine and they have also organized horse riding. Highly recommended

“Extremely welcoming”

Zorica and her family were very friendly and welcoming. They put a lot of effort into making us feel comfortable and meeting our dietary requirements. The homemade food was amazing. We were very sad that we had to cut our stay short due to the bad weather. One important thing to note: do not make the mistake we did which was driving there on the first day during the dark. Make sure to arrive before sunset or ask them to pick you up.

From the moment we arrived at the farm, we were welcomed with open arms and warm smiles. The hospitality was heartfelt and genuine, making us feel instantly at home. The atmosphere was peaceful, authentic, and deeply connected to nature. One of the highlights of our visit was the horseback riding tour – a breathtaking experience through open fields, forest trails, and stunning landscapes. It was both calming and exhilarating, and something we’ll never forget. The farm itself is surrounded by rolling hills, fresh air, and the gentle sounds of animals. Whether we were enjoying a quiet morning coffee outdoors or watching the sunset with nothing but nature around us, every moment felt meaningful. This wasn’t just a getaway – it was a soulful experience that reconnected us to the simple joys of life. We left with full hearts, new memories, and a deep appreciation for the family, animals, and land that made this stay so special. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind, reconnect, and experience the magic of farm life.

“Peaceful, isolated and real”

Really feels in the middle of nowhere. So calm and quiet. Incredible to explore the forest and meadows behind the farm. Amazing hosts and quite amazing how easy to communicate without speaking the same language. Delicious food. Cosy but basic. Outside showers and ablutions etc. No electricity. But all of that makes the experience so great and memorable. The road was doable in Dacia stepway.

We had such a special few days here!! Zorica and her family work very hard and it shows. We were welcomed every day to coffee and Rakiya, take long walks in the beautiful nature, and be treated to exceptional homemade food in the evenings. I would return in a heartbeat.

Where do I begin? This place is just so magical, pure, and exactly what every person in the world needs to unwind and get back to the roots. These people are so friendly and genuine. By far our best experience in Montenegro! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Zorica and Maya!! The stay is not just a stay, it's an activity in itself. Katun Potoci is self-sufficient. The hosts make the most delicious meals and bread in their fire oven and fire stove. They use vegetables from the garden, milk, eggs and cheese from their animals. You can even see them milk the cows. It's a whole lifestyle you get to see. There are pigs and chickens and cows roaming around freely. The shower is heated with fire (which they do for you) but I wouldn't have noticed it if you didn't see the host putting the wood in the stove. it was a verrrry good shower! You should know: the road is not doable with a normal car. But you can ask for them to pick you up (for an extra fee). So it's better to go there and make the stay your 'activity'. I also brought paint and a book to spend my time. Also gps sent us to a different road, so maybe share location through whatapp?

Katun Potoci is a little gem of warmth and hospitality. The place is constituted of a set of wooden buildings entirely constructed by the family, layed on a gentle meadow which hosts vegetable gardens and sheds for the animals (dogs may bark at night). Although the rooms are quite small and toilets are external, everything is peaceful, comfortable, and relaxing. Everyone is wonderful to talk to and eager to communicate across linguistic barriers, sharing stories over heart-warming home cooked food coming directly from the farm. Our experience here has been a faboulous tale of genuine participation and unpretentious beauty.

Super cute little cottages in the middle of nowhere. Insanely lovely and helpful woman, fantastic food! You must eat dinner there - so so tasty! And there was the cutest little dog in the whole world! We want to come back sometime :)

The place, the people, the food, everyhing!

This is an amazing place. We stayed with the family for one night (and their cows, pigs, sheep, dogs, chickens…) on their farm. It is a very peaceful and relaxing place. The food was delicious (and everything is home made from the farm!), the rooms very cosy and the neighbours were also very friendly, especially, helping with the translation :) And I got the chance to help milk the cows! Thanks a lot to all the families in the katun. It was an unforgettable visit. And I can only recommend everyone to visit this lovely place in the Montenegro forest. Hvala ❤️
