Overview
Mazā Kāpa is a guest house situated in the picturesque surroundings of Koknese, only about 20 metres from a river. It offers accommodation with a children’s playground and barbecuing facilities. The rooms are bright and decorated in pastel colours. Each comes with wooden floors, a TV and a private bathroom with a shower. Breakfast is offered every morning. The host greeted us with a warm welcome, showed us around, and told us about all the things we could enjoy during our stay. The room was cozy, clean, and had all the basics — plus it was nice to be able to make a cup of tea or coffee right there. Breakfast was lovely! We had the most delicious cottage cheese pancakes, and everything was set up so we could enjoy a peaceful, unhurried start to the day. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable place to stay.

The owner is a total sweetheart! Breakfasts were tasty with eggs from her own chickens and other locally sourced ingredients. Any problems, such as with the fob for opening the gate, were quickly and cheerfully sorted out. There are some leather goods for sale on site which a family member makes. This rural venue is really value for the money.
