Centrally located in Koh Tao, Lotus Paradise Resort - SHA PLUS is a 3-minute walk from Sairee Beach. It features massage services and air-conditioned rooms with a cable TV. Lotus Paradise Resort - SHA PLUS is a 5-minute walk from Koh Tao’s lively night life area and Lotus Bar is nearby. Local dining outlets are within a 10-minute walk away. Cosy rooms come with modern Thai interiors, dark wood furnishings and large windows that provide natural light. Each has a sofa and an en suite bathroom with shower facilities and toiletries. Recreational choices include canoeing or diving trip. Travel and sightseeing bookings can be made at the tour desk. Lotus de café serves a variety of local and international dishes. One of the two swimming is under renovation.

“Loved our stay at Lotus Paradise”
After reading some of the bad reviews I was a little worried! I needn’t have been! I am not sure if some of the reviews were for the hostel side of the report, but we had both of the seafront bungalows and it was lovely. The bungalows were a great size for two people and directly on the beach. The iconic bendy tree grows out of the garden. We found out on day one that you need to bring towels to reception to exchange for new ones…not a problem for us. Ladies come everyday with coffee, water and loo roll, but did not “make up” the room. I’m sure if we had have asked at reception they would have, but we were fine for our visit. The bar next door is noisy at night but the double glazing is good. If you are noise sensitive then I would advise you try out some different ear plugs to find ones that work for you…I like the silicone ones and couldn’t hear a thing with them in. My husband doesn’t like wearing them but he didn’t find the music to be too loud and slept fine. They provide wryly with beautiful sarongs as beach towels and large umbrellas for sun shade. I bought some large pegs/clips to attach the umbrella to the gate from bungalow to the beach, but you get the shade on the beach until about midday. I would most definitely stay here on a return visit as it is the perfect spot on the beach, but can’t speak for the rest of the resort, only the beach front bungalows.

It was difficult to really like anything other than the staff. They did the best they could to help us. We rented two bungalows. The rooms were ok, cute even. We asked to be moved immediately when we arrived, due to the terrible location, nothing else available. So the third day we moved to one of the newer bungalows. Much better.
