Resort is scattered all over the place, we booked the standard room which was just 14m2, you cant even live in that . the pictures mentioned in the description were not that , we had to pay extra 1000 baht for two days to upgrade to jungle house which was decent .

The diving is incredibly well organised. The diving instructors are the best in the business. The beach bar lands every single night.

I booked bans diving resort for the 2nd time going back to koh tao and I do so for a reason. The location is perfect, very close to all the partying parts of the island but not in the heart of it which is perfect. There’s a 7-11 down the road and plenty of places to eat. The standout for me is the pools. The pools are so nice and I genuinely end up spending most of my day at them. The pool closest to the hostel area is my particular favourite.

There were several issues during our stay. First, the location is not ideal. The jungle house is located at the very back of a large resort, which makes it quite inconvenient to reach. While a free shuttle service is advertised as available 24 hours, it was not operating late at night, so we had to walk about 30min in the dark to get to our hotel room. Additionally, there were cockroaches outside the apartment, which was unpleasant. The furniture and overall interior also felt quite old and worn. Overall, the stay did not meet our expectations, mainly due to the location, accessibility, and condition of the accommodation.

“Perfect location and beautiful hotel”

Such a nice hotel. Close to everything. Also the staff were very nice and helpful we extended our stay twice and they were very accommodating. Diving was onsite too

The pool and the coffee house were amazing, the breakfast was great and the location was ideal.

Staff are lovely and were really helpful when I asked about changing my room for a more quieter room. Also, when I needed to change my flights, they allowed me to use their phone; totally de-stressing me.

I loved the diving and George was a great instructor . I felt safe and in good hands . My room was not as I had booked and in the change of room a packing cube disappeared - never to be seen again .

“Great Hotel with a good breakfast and restaurant right on the beach”

Great property, but we did not know that it was spread between the hilltop and beach. Luckily they had a golf cart shuttle otherwise, bringing small kids up to the room would have been a hassle.

I would like to highlight several severe issues: 1. Total Disregard for Accessibility: Despite explicitly informing the hotel in advance that I have a leg injury and cannot walk long distances or climb stairs, they placed us on the 4th floor of a building with no elevator access. 2. Infrastructure & Logistics: The resort is built on steep hills and slopes. While they claim to provide a buggy service, the room phones in both rooms we were assigned did not work, making it impossible to call for assistance. 3. Hygiene & Quality: The property is old, filthy, and infested with insects and mosquitoes. It feels like a neglected hostel. Breakfast was minimal and served on cheap, scratched plastic dishes. 4. Noise: There is zero soundproofing. We could hear every sound from the outside, including loud parties that lasted all night, making it impossible to sleep. 5. Unbelievable Lack of Service: To top it all off, during check-out, there was a heavy downpour outside. We asked the reception to borrow an umbrella, but they refused and told us to go out in the rain to buy one ourselves. This is unacceptable treatment for any guest, let alone one with a physical injury.
