The restaurant terrace looks fantastic, the pictures in booking.com also. The management gave me back my money, as booking.com rules told me. They only charged me the first night.

Direct access to snorkeling spot, but you need watershoes to step on the rocks. Host is very nice.

I had a wonderful stay at the Cliff Hostel on Koh Rong Sanloem. The view is absolutely stunning, especially during sunset – it’s one of the best spots on the island to relax and take it all in. The staff were warm and welcoming, creating a genuinely friendly atmosphere. The burgers were surprisingly good and definitely worth trying. Overall, the vibe of the place is laid-back and inviting, making it a perfect spot to enjoy the island. Highly recommend!

It had the best sunset view, staff was very helpful and friendly especially Adam. He's a sweetheart and made my trip memorable. It's a beautiful place with peace, lovely dogs and cats, breathtaking view and far away from the busy and crowded areas. Perfect get away spot on the island. I loved every bit of it

You’ll end up extending your stay! The island is beautiful, peaceful and super relaxing. The hostel has probably the best view of the sunset and just a short walk down the stone steps to a private snorkelling point. It’s paradise!

I loved the open room with all the other guests. It was a nice atmosphere. The walk down to the sea (and also the view) is just amazing. You can rent snorkling gear and you should use it! Nice little restaurant also

“Very bad experience”

Such hard communication with the staff. We booked for a few days here and after one terrible night (way too hot and noisy, rusty fan bearly worked, no wall to have some intimacy), we asked to cancel our stay and get a refund for the other nights. They refused to get us a refund even if there is a vague mention on booking that we could get one. Even if they are full every day, they said they already paid the booking commission and nobody else could book online for our beds. We contacted the custom service from booking and had an answer that they finally accepted to give us a refund for 2 nights that we accepted. Once at the hostel (1 hour after receiving the message from booking) they refused to give us the money back as they promised. You can make your own mind about this place but it's own by a "ghost" who runs the business like a factory and never showed up. They aren't involved in the community on the island, better to give money to smaller business with understanding people.

The best thing is the cheap little restaurant 5’ from here hehehe! The hostel is nice, very chill with a cosy open space, the staff is cool (locals & volunteers), beds comfy, cheap snorkelling & beautiful sunset from the terrace! This part of Koh Rong Sanloem is the most authentic :D
