We loved staying at Bong’s Guesthouse. The staff were so friendly and helpful, even before we arrived! Guests can borrow snorkels for free to use at the beach, and you also are provided with a beach mat/bag which was absolutely brilliant. The guesthouse is right off the pier and close to everything in M’Pai Bay. One of our favourite spots yet, hopefully will be back again!

I had such a wonderful stay at Bong’s Guesthouse in M’Pai Bay. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming and relaxed — it really felt like a home away from home. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed, and the location is perfect for exploring the village while still being peaceful.

Perfect location on the beach front with a really nice view of the ocean. Food is amazing and staff are lovely! We loved our stay.

“Excellent”

This was the second time I've stayed at Bong's and it offers consistently good value. Rooms are simple but clean and comfortable with plenty of hooks and shelves for your gear. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The restaurant/bar has excellent food and coffee and is a great place to sit and watch the world go by.

The staff is the best very accommodating, the location is the best on the island, toilet in each room.. and loved the balcony to relax in the morning and evening, the food is great, highly recommended..

It's very central. You can refill water for free. Just an OK and very basic room.

“Nice place to rest”

The guesthouse and bar are together so you can have coffee, breakfast, etc. Beachside shared balcony, so it was good to chill and just wander around. The bed was comfy and had a mosquito net, that was really needed as the walls are from wood so you can expect them. The bathroom is really really small, but you can survive with it.

Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Good location on the beach right by the boat jetty. Excellent restaurant with great coffee...and I can't stop thinking about the mushroom guac toast. Free water refills. Staff are lovely.

Really nice and helpful staff. The location is impeccable. We had direct view onto the beach and water.

The location was great, and all the staff were really kind and helpful The bar restaurant area was great and all the food that I tried was so good My room was basic, but I had absolutely everything I needed and really comfortable. In fact they were the best pillows I had in my whole trip.

“All you need for a beach break, great value for money”

The location was fabulous, right on the beach and adjacent to the pier. The communal balcony was a great place to relax and watch the world go by. We ate breakfast at Bong's every morning, good value and always tasty with plenty of options for vegetarians. The rooms were basic but certainly comfortable and the addition of 2 fans was massively appreciated! The staff team was great - relaxed, friendly, helpful and happy to stop for a quick chat! We loved our stay and would definitely recommend.

Fantastic place to stay, the room was great with a stunning sea view, staff were all friendly and welcoming and the food was amazing! Even provided us with snorkels to borrow for our stay and reduced rates on kayak/paddleboard rental.
