“Best guide and host in koh mook”

This place has a special charming. Being in nature in a camping. But the most important thing is how the owner takes care of you, making sure you visit all the iconic places, sunsets.. he helps you to find the cheapest tickets to go on trips and takes you everywhere when needed. He gives his whatsapp contact and stays in touch with you whenever you need it. Thanks for everything Yai. I really appreciate all your help and friendship during this trip

Great place in Koh Mook. Nice location in a cashew nut tree field, definitely a bit rustic which I personally like. Yai will organise independent snorkelling, kayaking and trips every day to sunset beach which is lovely (I don’t think anywhere else on the island does this)

“Kind, generous owner in a cashew orchard”

Been travelling for 6 months and this was the nicest and most generous owner of a place we’ve ever stayed at. He provides a free taxi service to and from the sunset beach everyday, he has so much information on tours and activities across the island, fresh mangos from his trees, and he will show you how to prepare and roast cashew nuts!! We met lots of other lovely guests. The tents are very spacious and do not get too hot at night! The location is great, lots of delicious restaurants and cafes very close by.

“Wonderful host, nothing was too much trouble”

Wonderful host who was so helpful and friendly ,collected us and our luggage from the pier and dropped us off when we left. As well as provided us with a huge amount of free mangoes and showed us how to roast cashew nuts. He also drove us across to a lovely beach on the other side of the island so we could view the sunset.

He goes above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be, always there with an offer to take you to the beach for sunset, always there to help you book any transport or day trips, and with good recommendations. The host is super kind and helpful . He did his best to show us places and organise activities for us. We really appreciated . The tent was big, bed confortables, fan ! Shared bathroom is simple and clean. We will never forget Yai and cashew nut bungalows in Khoo Mook ♥️

Peaceful, owner is so friendly and gives free taxi to beach at 5 and offers information on whattsapp.

Excellent location! Very peaceful,you can hear the birds all the time. It is tucked away from the main road, surrounded by greenery and plenty of space. The owner is one of the best hosts we have met in Thailand. He lives on-site and puts his whole heart into the place. His approach is wonderful,he offers help with everything and, if you’re open to it, he can truly become a friend on your journey.

The owner is so so nice . Amazing . Helped me when I got sick and took me to a shop to buy some things to help me also took me to a doc but she wasn’t around . Goes out of his way . So kind . Takes you to Charlie’s beach and back for free . .

“Simple sweet spot in a Koh Mook village”

Spacious, clean bungalow that comes with a shared bathroom outdoors however you can easily adjust as part of rustic Thai experience. Strategically great location if you want to stay in a village - away from main road yet all you need is around. The owner is one of kind, sweet, kind and generous, - appreciate all the conversations, most delicious fruits and my favourite evening rides to Sunset beach!

“Beautiful stay on Koh Muk”

I really loved my stay here, Yai is very attentive and kind and helped me with any issues I had - also giving me lots of good advice for the island. He also would give lifts to the beaches and took me to see the sunset on my first night. The place is in the main centre so everything is very accessible, and the place itself is so beautiful and relaxing with lots of birds and wildlife. The tents are also huge and practically brand new, mine could have fit at least another 5 people - they also have a fan for when it's too hot, I'd totally recommend staying here for a more authentic experience of the island

I stayed in a new tent (good to keep mozzies out) - had a fan, light & power cable). Owner was very hospitable - collevt & drop from ferry. Good central location. Good matress.

Yai Yai, the Hakka Thai He takes you in his taxi and it makes you fly We very much enjoyed our stay in Cashew Nut It's simple and environmentally better than most places you'll stay in Thailand. Free water full ups and Yai will take you to and from Charlie beach for free which was great. Also met a great bunch of people in the place. Proper old backpackers place set in a cashew tree orchard where we saw (and heard) woodpeckers. 30 mins walk to the beach and great restaurants 50m away. Thanks Yai

As other reviews have mentioned the owner is great guy who is incredibly helpful (not sure he ever stops!) Free water refills, free drop off and collections from Charlie Beach and always making time to help with enquiries. The accommodation is what I expected, a tent with shared shower facilities and was comfortable. My 2 nights turned into 4

The place is very quit and you can walk in 2 minutes to the town and the beach. The owner is very helpfull and bring you everyday to charlie beach for sunset,if you want. Also transport to the pier and back included. Thank you for the time there:)

The owner was very very friendly and attentive. He did everything he could to make our stay comfortable and helped us with a bike, information for tours, transfer to our next stop and everything else he could.

“Waking up with the birds in Yai’s beautiful garden”

Yai was the best Host ever! He picked us up at the pier, he is offering to Drive every Person from the Camp to the Charlie Beach to watch the Sunset in the evening and he booked for us a wonderful snorkeling tour. Also he helped us to book a very cheap trip to Krabi. Yai was absolutely helpful and also very chill. We are very grateful that we could be his guests.
