Very untidy it's seem that the rooms was not cleaned in a while mould on toilet roll cigarette butt's under bed used as a ash tray

Good location walking distance to port, fishing fleet and market and good restaurants. it’s what it is: $18 simple room, good AC, hot shower. We ate three local dishes in restaurant that were fine with draft beer. Owner Rene cheerful and helpful.

I hesitated to choose this place because the rating was below 8, but I don’t regret it at all. During my stay, the electricity did not go out, and everything worked well. I can even compliment the good lighting in both the room and the bathroom. I also appreciated the window with a mosquito net, as I like fresh air and didn’t have to worry about mosquitoes. It looks like the room was repainted recently, although the lower parts of the walls are not very aesthetic - probably due to the recent flood. I didn’t eat there, as the food on the street is cheaper.

Except for the boss himself, the rest of the staff was very very nice. They helped as much as they could en apologised for the inconveniences. I left after one night and they gave me my money back that I had paid for remaining nights.

The women who worked there were very kind and helpful, they seemed just as frustrated as us with the situation.

Staff are all really friendly, great value for money and great food, natural beauty of the surrounding area is incredible however not much going on in the town itself. Room had an odd smell and wifi was a bit dodgy but other than that I have no complaints

Good draft beer, if you want Italian food, go to Italy. Bedsheets looked clean but yellow and sandy, very noisy..

Very arrogant European owner, started yelling at us immediately once we arrived and had a question about price difference to booking, the room had very weird smell, my friends had dirty sheets, a lot of dirt under the bed. No running water after 8pm up until like 7-8am 😅 Then there was also no electricity for our rooms during the night so no ac/fan and shit load of mosquitoes Interesting that you could see lights from other rooms and there was light in the hallway too You get woken up by the staff members playing very loud TikTok videos right at your “window” - spent two nights both mornings the same 😅 All the signs around walls reminding you the place is owned by RENE with his name everywhere 🙈 The food and beer was good xd

The actual accommodation is fine but we did both get food poisoning on the 1st day here which ruined our plans for the following day as my daughter could barely leave the room. Maybe don't eat at the restaurant. Overpriced compared to other local fair and obviously a bit risky if you wanna enjoy your time in koh Kong.
