“Handy location, lovely staff, old hotel”
The location above the train station was fantastic, it meant we could go exploring just by taking a lift down to the subway. The hotels proximity to the Nunobiki Ropeway and the Kitano distric was another bonus.

“Fantastic location for ease of transport, huge hotel with choice.”
It’s literally next door to the Shinkansen station and the metro so very handy. The Herb Garden and Ropeway is also next door and the city loop bus is very close. Bed was comfortable, lots of restaurants to choose from. Huge hotel.

“Very spacious rooms in a good location, but very dated”
The hotel is very conveniently located if you want to use the Shinkansen to travel further from Kobe. The rooms were really huge. The gym was also relatively spacious.

Right next to Shin-Kobe station, good sized rooms, comfortable beds, fantastic buffet breakfast and the staff were extremely helpful and fluent in English.

Luxury hotel right above the Shinkasen Station. Hotel was so big, we had beautiful mountain and city views right outside our 20th floor window and enjoyed a trip to the lounge on the 60th? Floor. The hotel had it's own boutique shops within and the most amazing buffet breakfasts with so many varieties of food we didn't have a chance to try even a quarter of what was on offer or to try the gym or pool would love to visit again, Kobe is amazing and the hotel was our top one of our whole Japan trip.

“Quiet, good location for transit, but the mall is pretty dead.”
It's located right at Shin-Kobe station, which is also connected to the Shinkansen. This place makes for a very good area for transiting, and also there's a waterfall nearby if you are willing to hike. Make sure to check if the Nunobiki Ropeway is closed for maintenance if you are visiting.

“Great option right next to Shin Kobe”
Nice conference hotel a stone's throw from Shin Kobe station with all you can expect from such a property.. except modernity perhaps. The hotel may show its age but to me it came across more like cute retro (like the wood paneling and hardwood bedstand with an old timey FM radio). The room was small but had everything I needed plus a kickass view of Kobe town and bay. Another plus, the proximity to the cable car for the beautiful Nunobiki gardens!

Proximity to Shinkansen Station and Carpentry Museum. Good foyer. Great reception hosts. Decent space in the room. Good layout. Good gym and pool plus restaurant choices . Nice bottled water and pod c offee.
