We absolutely loved staying in Samsam, it’s a gorgeous property, so serene and quiet. It’s beautifully designed and every room seems to be thought through to every tiny detail. It’s situated at the top of the hill, the beach is only 5m walk away and you can also enjoy the small restaurants and cafes along the shore. One can take a bicycle or rent a scooter from the hotel to get by in the island too. It’s very clean, lots of good options for breakfast and we even had a pleasure to attend a dinner set up by a Michelin star chef. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, overall it’s a great hotel and we are looking forward to coming back here again.

Samsam was amazing, the gardens of the hotel were beautiful, we got to see the hornbills almost every day. The pool was also great, and we ended up having it only to ourselves a few times. Delicious breakfast, the egg bar was a nice touch. The meals we had at the hotel were also nice. Pretty close to the beach and to some restaurants, by walking 20 minutes you have quite a lot of options. I especially enjoyed dinner at Stella 2 and the cocktails at Mohito bar. Amazing sunsets and sunrises you can see by walking max 15 minutes from the hotel. Staff were great, helpful and attentive while also giving you privacy. I also enjoyed the boat trip they arranged for us, and the complimentary pick up and drop off from the port.

“Little piece of paradise”

Got to mention the exceptional staff who always had a smile on their faces. We loved everything, the peace, stunning rooms, gorgeous pool which we often had to ourselves. Used the free bikes and had a massage in our room. Courtesy drive to sunset bar as well. Joined by hornbills for breakfast. Short walk to Leks restaurant for amazing food.

The breakfast, the service by the pool, all the food! the rooms, the staff were so kind and helpful! I loved this place! They picked us up form the port, they re arranged our booking when my partner was to sick to come, they made sure we had food prepared that wouldn't make my partner sick again! They were so kind and helpful!

Incredible rooms, excellent staff, love the bicycles provided to get around the island, loved the breakfast, loved the views. We were picked up from the pier when we arrived and dropped off when we left. We went during low season and were the only guests there. More expensive than other options on the island (but much cheaper than some!) definitely get what you pay for here!!

Everything was to like: beautiful room, impeccable service and kindness from the staff, effective communication with staff, tasty food and drinks. Perfect location too.

An amazing location and room, the view and the private pool are perfect..sadly if you are coming with kids the sofa bed that is noted on the size is actually a beanbag .. so this might be a slight issue.

We’ve been to Koh Yao Noi 3 times now and this was always somewhere we wanted to stay. Due to it being April the rates had almost halved in price. It’s in a great location by Pasai Beach, you can hire scooters through the hotel so perfect for exploring. They picked us up from the pier in a huge truck! The room was huge, great aircon, comfy bed, and the bathroom was amazing the shower could fit 8 people! Breakfast was picked from an extensive menu and brought to the room at the chosen time. Presentation and food was very good. The ground were lovely, pool was so peaceful with a little bar. As it’s the low season we were felt like we had it to ourselves. It also has a huge gym! Which is rare in Thailand. It’s an arts hotel so the artwork was amazing throughout. One thing that would be nice is if you paved the side of the pool where the sunloungers were, the loungers were on soil, which isn’t as nice as the decked/paved part of the pool, but that’s a tiny thing! We hope to come back some day and stay longer!

The most amazing place. Tranquil and luxurious. Nice places to eat nearby and near the beach. Thoroughly recommended for a quiet relaxation.
