The most gorgeous setting. Views over the sea are incredible with very special sunsets. Beautiful rooms. All the staff were lovely and very helpful. The hotel has everything you need. We rented a scooter for a few days to explore the island which came directly from the hotel. It’s probably the best place I’ve ever stayed and would have stayed longer if we could have. Very peaceful and relaxed place.

Our entire stay was perfect, start to finish. The hostesses and entire crew were impeccable. Not just in the care they take at breakfast and dining, housekeeping and any enquiry you might have, they are so good natured and humourous, that they make the entire experience really special. The rooms are simply stunning. The fixtures and fittings are immaculately finished, the beds are divine - huge and so comfortable. Aircon worked perfectly, the ceiling fans are a great addition. We actually ended up extending our stay, to the sea villas and pool villas. I would recommend the pool villa for unparalleled stunning ocean views. The grounds and gardens are well maintained and alot of work goes into keeping them this way, it shows. The plants and vegetation are luscious, so much so the hornbills visit frequently, along with other beautiful birds. The pool area is nice, and if the resort is quiet you can have it to yourself for the whole day. The location was ideal for us. It is tucked away in the north west of the island, so I would recommend hiring a scooter to get around. It is quiet and peaceful, and at most you are 10-15 minutes away from the buzz of the town and cafes / bars. The restaurant on site has all you could want and every meal we had was fresh and tasty. Smoothies and cocktails were also delicious, and it was a novelty to be able to order room service for balcony sunsets. And about the breakfast. . It's outstanding. Fabulous selection, cooked to perfection, ready and waiting for your arrival in the morning. We really couldn't have asked for more and hope to be back someday.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. All the staff were attentive, friendly, and provided excellent service throughout my stay. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service, which was very convenient and free of charge. Breakfast is served as a set menu, but the quality of the food was very good. The location is great—quiet and peaceful, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and restful stay.

We had the perfect Honeymoon at Purana! We loved everything, amazing sea view from the pool sea breeze villas. Super friendly staff, very quiet and relaxed. You can rent motorbikes at the Hotel and explore the island. We can only highly recommend this place!

Stayed in the Pool villa 1 absolutely sensational!! Amazing views and a great sized private pool. Villa was immaculate as were the staff they could not have been better. Restaurant was excellent and for a closed market very well priced. Used a scooter to explore the island which I would recommend as it is beautiful and easily arranged with the hotel. The hotel is in an isolated location but for us that added to the charm. Overall one of the best stays we have ever had and we are well travelled.

Very very service minded personal. Located not near a lot which we enjoyed. Felt very private. We had a garden vila which was so great even though there were no sea view. We were able to book very good tours though the hotel which were nice. They arranges transfer to the next hotel which were great.

The sunsets, the spacious room, amazing breakfast with a breathtaking view, big swimming pool and renting scooter with the side car, which made it possible to explore the hidden gems of the island. But what makes this place truly special is the staff. They are the kindest, most helpful and caring people who go above and beyond to make sure the guest enjoy their stay. We loved Purana and would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a home away from home surrounded by the natural beauty of the tropics.
