“Nice stay at the Reef but maybe not the cheapest for what you get”

I liked the breakfast offering which can also be a brunch given they serve until 4pm or similar, the location is quite central even if not directly beach front but the island is so small that you can get anywhere quite easily

Location is perfect, 4 minutes walking to sunrise beach, 10 min walking to Sunset Beach or Pattaya beach, walking street is 2 minutes away, very convenient. From my balcony I could even see the sunrise 🌅 Staff is very sweet and friendly, cozy restaurant, I would not say that breakfasts are perfect but they are okay.

The perfect spot on the island. Central and walking distance to everything. The staff were so friendly and accomodating. The room was great. Comfy and quiet. Had everything we needed. Such a nice cafe too! Felt like home on the island.

“Our stay at The Reef”

The breakfast deserves an honorable mention as it is spectacular. There are several western options in their menu. Their preparation leaves many high-end hotels behind. This is the kind of breakfast you look forward to when you wake up! Our room was spacious and had an extremely silent air conditioning. The minibar was stocked with many items, with prices comparable to those at 7-Eleven (price-match).

“A great base for Koh Lipe”

This is a great hotel to use as a jumping off point to explore Koh Lipe. The island is so small that everything is in walking distance so you can easily be on any beach in a matter of minutes. It’s also just off Walking Street so you have easy access to bars and restaurants. The staff are so lovely and we enjoyed our daily breakfast in the cafe. The room was spacious if a little shabby chic but we spent most of our time exploring the island anyway!

“Best Choice in Koh Lipe”

This hotel is just perfect. One of the best in Koh Lipe (in a budget point of view). Super well located, just I’d say, 10min walk to the beach. Spacious room, good air conditioning. The best thing without any doubt, is the breakfast. My room was exactly as shown in the picture. The staff are amazing!!!

“3 nights in Kolipe”

We stayed three nights at the Reef Hotel and Residence in a studio with a balcony. The room and bathroom were very spacious and clean. I understand the hotel’s policy of respecting the environment; however, I would suggest providing two towels per person in the bathroom and at least two teaspoons in the room where the kettle is placed. The staff are kind and polite, although they always seemed very busy.
