The food in the restaurant is good. Unfortunately, there are a lot of mosquitoes in the evening. I enjoyed the common area.

“Hidden Gem with Incredible Beach and Excellent Amenities”

Great hotel in an excellent location, with easy access to some of the best beaches on the island. The beach itself is absolutely stunning, with crystal-clear water and a very relaxing atmosphere—definitely the highlight of our stay. The rooms are a bit old-fashioned but still very comfortable, especially the beds. The outdoor bathrooms are a unique touch—we personally loved them. The restaurant serves amazing food, and the fresh fruit juices are delicious. The hotel also has a small massage center with very professional service—highly recommended. The pool area is beautiful, with great ocean views, perfect for relaxing. Another big plus is the motorbike rental (250 THB/day), which makes it easy to explore the island and nearby beaches. Overall, great value for money. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

“Paradise on earth”

Ig you are looking for a few days of relaxation, this is the perfect spot. This place is a true hidden gem. The location is incredible, the rooms are comfortable and everything is decorated with taste. The breakfast was very tasty and the restaurant is great, and for absolutely reasonable prices for the standard. The staff is so attentive and nice it really makes the soul of this place.

Beautiful and atypical hotel. The location is amazing and the hotel offers many activities for free : kayak, pool table, foosball... The restaurant is very good as well. The staff is very friendly and will help you with anything you need.

“Good hotel but too expensive for the quality”

Everyone is really nice, the bed is very comfortable. The place is quite picturesque and the beach is beautiful. The food at the restaurant is also good, although there are not many options - maybe it could be added some western food on the menu as well.

We had an amazing stay at À La Koh Kood and would definitely come again. The place is a hidden gem and is perfect for quiet relaxation at a beautiful beach, surrounded by nature. It‘s a small family run business with the sweetest staff. It’s truly a resort that feels like a homestay. The absolute highlight of our stay was the food. Absolutely excellent!

A la Koh Kood leaves me with mixed feelings. The location is as everyone has already said; remote, which has its good and bad sides. The sand/gravel road really is harsh even for an experienced motorbike driver. What surprised us the most is that the staff or any review I have seen don't mention that googlemaps don't provide a route to the resort. We ended up at the wrong place and were helped by a sweet local. The beach is beautiful and really not crowded. The entire resort is very peaceful. All the amenities that exist are very comfortable as is the interior of the rooms/lounge areas. However it is very minimalistic and sometimes a bit too basic. The bathroom would need work, the toilet is basically covered with the shower curtain, lol. Breakfast was ok, nothing special, the same every day and little options for vegetarians, if you, like me, don't eat eggs. While the staff are polite, there aren't soulfull as we have experienced elsewhere travelling in Thailand. I do not recommend their laundry. It comes folded in very weird ways and make your clothes very wrinkled. They returned my white linen shirt yellow and when I pointed this out they didn't offer a proper apology/thought of compensation. They tried to clean it but gave a feeling like I was making it up. Things happen, it's a shirt, who cares, it was the communication around it that I didn't appreciate. Please don't apologize in a comment now, this should have happened in person. I'd love to go back to Koh Kood one day but I would chose a different resort.

I had a wonderful stay at À La Koh Kood. Everything was great,the staff were kind and helpful, the room was comfortable, and the beach was absolutely beautiful. The facilities provided everything needed to relax and enjoy my time there. It’s the perfect place to unwind and take in the natural beauty of the island. Highly recommended!

Very nice and peaceful place, helpful staff. Liked the living areas with books and comfortable seating. Free equipment: snorkelling gear,kayaks, yoga mats, beach games..etc.

“Beautiful escape”

Everything about the location of the hotel is true, a bit far from the main road, but there is free car transfer provided by the most friendly and kind driver and the interaction with him made every trip really enjoyable. Everything about the resort was really good, most beautiful beach on the island, surroundings are something magical. Good spots for snorkeling, clear water and white sand.

Beautiful setting, very gorgeous buildings, not super well finished as may be implied with the price. Lovely friendly and attentive staff. The road to the hotel is super bumpy and takes a good 20 mins to travel by hotel shuttle. I would suggest making sure you have access to your own transportation otherwise you are pretty stuck / have to do a long 1k walk to the main road. If you would like to eat elsewhere / explore its sort of a must, as i wouldn’t walk the road at night alone.The beach is beautiful connected to the mangrove. Lots of sandflies and mosquitoes, as to be expected.
