The owner is extremely helpful. His love of life and the nature around him is clear to see. He attended to all my needs. I highly recommend this accommodation without hesitation provided you are prepared for the walk back up the hill. Rental of a motorbike would solve this issue.

Staying at Ping Pong's is an experience. First off, this is not a salubrious location, 400 meters above the ocean, the road up is easy but there are some noisy dogs. DO NOT WORRY THEY DO NOT BITE..... When we arrived Ping was celebrating Songkaron with a spliff and some alcohol was in the air....good on him. His slight, wiry, fit stature and cheeky air gave us a lift after a day of travel. After he told us a bit about the area, we unpacked and headed down for some food and a swim. We were aware there would be monkeys and sure enough, one morning of our 2 night stay he alerted us to their arrival close to 7 AM....we ran out 1/2 naked to see one monkey approach and eat the fruit that was prepared. More monkeys were in the distance, and another one came close. It was magical and fun! Ping is a character and is worth the price of admission just to stay here. I highly recommend you experience Mr. Ping Pong! One morning he found us eating brekkie at a nearby cafe and brought us some fried treats. One good human being....mark my words!

“Great value for money”

Great value for money and Pong was always there to help or offer us snacks! The location is just a few minute walk up a steep hill away from White Sand Beach (we used a scooter ) Room was very big and clean.

Ping Pong is a very lovely host. It was a nice time staying with him. A monkey family welcomed us every morning.

The owner was very kind and helpful, he offered us some local specialties. The room was very nice, spacious and welcoming. We were immersed in nature and a few steps from the sea. I recommend it to anyone who wants to have an authentic experience. Every morning some friendly monkeys said good morning to us, they are friends of Ping Pong, the owner, and they come to eat there several times a day... Thank you Ping Pong, hope to see you again.

“Amazing”

We were supposed to be here only one night and didn’t have acommodation for the next 3 days but Ping pong found free room for us and we didn’t need to find another place. We even got bigger and better room too. Rooms are also clean and there is no mold (I’m allergic so im always worried about mold). Host is super friendly and lovely and gave us snacks for our tour and when we arrived. Best place to stay in White Sand Beach!!!

beautiful place with it’s own vibe, atmosphere, the owner, Mr. PingPong is absolutely phenomenal, he knows everything about the island, it’s flora and fauna, he is a person you can rely on! The room is rather big, everything is so cozy, the place is excellent in a quite neighborhood!

Great atmosphere in a jungle setting but not too far from the beach.Friendly host who can’t do enough for you.

This place was lovely. We got to see the monkeys a few times, which was amazing, Mr ping-pong was also great he gives you really nice snacks in the morning and water every day. The bed was very comfy, and the room was clean and spacious. Overall, the place was great value for money and a nice stay.

Beautiful scenery and an amazing host. Pingpong is one of the most genuinely kinda people I’ve ever met. Definitely come here and definitely speak to Pingpong as much as you can!

“Nice place to relax and see monkeys and local birds.”

The room was big with a large bathroom. Good hot water and AC. The place is located a bit away from the high street (800m - 10 minutes walk) and into the jungle. Each morning we would have a family of monkeys coming to the hotel grounds. They would jump into the outside table and watch us through the windows. The babies were so cute. We also had beautiful birds coming to see us through the window. And gorgeous ginger cats! The owner is a really nice person and gave us good tips of where to go and what to do. Ask him about the infinity pool at the luxury hotel by the seaside, few miles away. You need a scooter but he said that the entry was free. Just need to get a drink (not expensive) and we could just use the facilities there. Amazing place to lounge in the afternoon if you fancy a pool. Some people might dislike the fact it is a bit away from the Main Street, just 10 minutes walk and a it is bit dark at night to walk back, although with our phone it was ok for us. If you have mobility issues it might be a problem I guess. Very quiet. Good night sleep.

The owner is sooo nice! He gives you a lot of Tipps about the island, and is very helpful, and nice to talk to. The short road uphill didn't bother me much. But even without the awesome host it would be very good value for money.. Wildlife included ;)

Everything was great about this place. Ping is an exceptional host and will definitely choose him again.
