Peaceful guesthouse in the heart of the fishermans village. Laid back atmosphere. Big room with magnificent view. The common place overlooking the water where you receive your breakfast in the morning is excellent.

No one there to welcome me. It is run by next door. My room very basic for price. Noisy from up stairs and water dripping into water from other rooms. Santar the worker was wonderful and attentive. Breakfast was good. The views over water superb.

This place is truly magical. The setting is stunning, the building is traditional and full of character whilst being very comfortable and homely. The common area where you can choose from a number of comfortable areas to sit and relax is very welcoming and we spent hours just reading and enjoying our surroundings! The rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with great air con and plenty of space. We originally came for 4 nights but ended up staying for 9! The people that run the property are one of the main reasons for us extending our stay, the made us feel so welcomed and at home and were a pleasure to be around, so thank you very much. And not forgetting the cats!! I wish I could have popped them in my backpack.

We stayed 5 nights at Koi’s place and had a great time. The interior is rather basic, but everything was very clean, and all the essentials were provided. While the bed was a bit firm for our taste and the windy nights made sleeping a bit challenging (as it’s a wooden house on a pier, you hear everything), it added to the charm of staying in such a unique location. Getting to the beaches requires a scooter, but this wasn’t an issue for us. Staying in the fishing village was a nice and we liked the authentic atmosphere. Everything you need is close by, including ATMs, restaurants, and even a 7-Eleven. What really made our stay special was the amazing staff. The owner is super friendly and talkative, but a special shoutout goes to Santa. He was a fantastic host, always sharing helpful tips and preparing fresh breakfast for us every morning. All in all, the value for money is great. If you’re looking for an authentic stay with warm hosts and a lovely view, this is a perfect choice.

Very interesting place to stay - Room was comfortable good air con slightly dim lighting and firm but comfortable bed. Lovely outside seating area for watching the bay - the kites fishing - an oasis of calm away from the busy pier thoroughfare.Koi was very friendly and helpful-a nice breakfast .1.5km walk to the beach - good for swimming ,food and relaxing on free sunbeds.All sorts of boat trips available from the pier

Landlord Lady extremely friendly, and is preparing a very good breakfast. One can serve oneself with coffee or tea in the large common space with hanging matresses and enjoy the amazing view over the pier and the lake. And watch the house turtle getting its breakfast each morning at its own time

Great value for money. Simple and basic but spotlessly clean and convenient for a peaceful nights sleep with a beautiful view. The host Joy, was lovely and friendly, and did everything to make the stay comfortable.

Our whole experience in Koi’s Guesthouse were beautiful from the start on. Koi, her sister and nephew are the nicest people, they treated us so lovely and caring. We had a really nice breakfast with loads of fresh fruits, egg, salad (sausages if you want). They help you with whatever and also named us other really nice guesthouses on other islands. The whole atmosphere is just really special. You can sit on the terrace on several really nice relax spots and just watch the sea and the bald eagles flying over you. We loved it and would 100% recommend.
