“Outstanding bungalows.”

Peaceful, private, relaxing, and great value. Bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept on. Very close to beach, supermarket and great restaurants. Amazing hosts. John is awesome and very chill. I stayed for a week. I will return.

I've had a great stay in Elephant&Castle 10/10. Nice and quiet location away from the main road souranded by nature yet very close to shops,bars,beach. John is absolutel legend, extremely helpful from minute one. Got all the good recommendations ,motorbike rental ,great chat.In addition few very cute 🐕 to keep you company. Highly recommend. The bungalow has everything you need. AC, refrigerator, a very comfortable bed and even coffee powder. John is super nice and has many helpful tips. In addition, there is a large supermarket around the corner.

The owner John is a top bloke with a great sense of humour and is very helpful and knowledgeable about the island. Room was very comfortable and so was the bed, best sleep I'd had in a while. Loved the friendly dogs and overall quiet of the place. Would definitely recommend to stay here.

The room was clean and has a fridge and a kettle which is a bonus. John was very helpful, gave us recommendations and sorted us a bike for a few days. Would recommend staying here.

“Home from home”

We spent a week in the bungalow. It is in the jungle but not far from the road. Over the road is Pearl Beach. A hidden gem, quiet and peaceful with lots of restaurants, try Shanes curry. Lovely bungalows with big comfy beds, fridge, kettle, very spacious rooms and large porch. Hosts were most genuine people, John is a great character. White sands not far down the road, 100 baht in songtheaw. Hope to see you both next year John x

“A very relaxing stay - I shall definitely be back!”

The things I liked the most were the property was slightly set back from the road so no traffic noise. The bungalows were spacious inside and nicely spaced apart from one another . They’re clean and modern. I had a kettle and fridge to make a cuppa ( very important to me) and I enjoyed my chats with the host John ( who is also English) I had a lovely view of the woods from my balcony and the curtains were dark meaning I wasn’t woken up at 4am by the sun pouring in.

An excellent secluded and quiet location. Reasonable price and a friendly owner.

Wonderful place in the jungle to hide away from a noisy tourist world. Clean and quiet, friendly host Mr. John and his family, including nice dogs. Absolute walue for money.

We loved everything about our stay here! John and Lan are amazing, they have been so welcoming from the second we arrived, helped us with whatever we needed (including bike rental). They have 6 lovely doggies which is always an added bonus! The bed was huge and comfortable, the bathroom was clean and had hot water. Being in the jungle is beautiful, it's in a very quiet location set off the road, just the sounds of nature 99% of the time! John has so many recommendations of places to go and things to do on the island you'll never be bored! Truly a home away from home and we can't wait to come back!
