Such a beautiful place to stay at, we HIGHLY recommend staying here! The apartment is in a gated community (Thesen Island). There are some great restaurants there too. Our host (Di) was so welcoming and friendly and had loads of recommendations for us! They also have bicycles, kayaks, golf equipment and a braai for you to use. So much to do and so little time ;) Apartment was fully equipped and very clean.

Di was a fabulously responsive host. Beds were extremely comfortable and Thesen Island is a gorgeous location. We really enjoyed the paddle through the canals and on the lagoon.

Really clean and well equipped accommodation in an excellent position. The bed was very comfortable and Di, the host host was amazing giving us plenty of info and meeting us when we arrived. We were able to have laundry done at very little cost. We loved the two verandahs giving us lovely views over the waterways and the lagoon. The sunsets were spectacular and we were able to easily walk to the local bars and restaurants as well as to the harbour deli and restaurants. Had we been a little younger we could have used the bikes, canoe and golf equipment provided.

The most beautiful accommodation that we have ever had the privilege of staying in. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped including beach towels which we have never been supplied with in other establishments. Di was extremely friendly and gave great advice on activities, sight seeing, restaurants and offers of assistance. A laundry service is available weekdays.

Property is well managed, clean and a beautiful location. Very secure and close to waterfront and city centre. The views were memorable. Access to mini golf, tennis and being able to ride around estate was some of the highlights ☺️. Host was excellent in her communication and went the extra mile for us.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Thesen View! From the moment we arrived, the host was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful—going above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. They gave us great suggestions for things to do around Knysna, from local eateries to scenic spots we might have missed otherwise. The apartment itself was beautiful—immaculately clean, stylishly decorated, and incredibly comfortable. But the real highlight was the breathtaking view over the canal. Waking up to that peaceful water scene each morning was such a treat, and evenings on the balcony were just as magical.

The view is unbelievable. The room is big enough and comfortable for 2 people. Great hosts who assisted with restaurants etc. The property is safe and very comfortable. A great place to relax.
