Lovely welcoming vibe. Nathalie and Kate could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable. They offered us plenty of suggestions which we did take on board. It was a joy to stay at Double Dutch. The view from our room over the lagoon was beautiful. Beds comfortable, tea, coffee, water and snacks replaced every day. Breakfast was excellent. All in all a joyful 3 night's in Double Dutch. Would love to visit again!

Kate and Nat are brilliant hosts and a goldmine of information. Nothing is too much trouble and you feel very welcome there. The pool area is also lovely.

Beautiful view, we were upgraded to room with garden view and that made all the difference. The pool is clean and refreshing, exactly what you need in December ! There is a vast breakfast menu, so we were able to eat something different every morning.

Everything was perfect

The location, with a fantastic view of Knysna lagoon looking straight out through the Heads. Private parking and lovely well equipped rooms. The whole place was brought to life by Nathalies paintings with their unique take on the wildlife and the environment. Our hosts, Kate and Nathalie were exceptional. We arrived as guests and left 4 days later as friends. We would return tomorrow if we could.

Cate and Natalie are amazing hosts and we really love the place. The rooms are huge and clean, the bed is very comfortable and the shower was amazing. Also the breakfast was great. There was a small buffet with all the things you need and both ladies were very friendly and helpful during the stay. We will come back or meet in Barcelona.

We loved absolutely everything about our stay at the Double Dutch. Kate and Nathalie greeted us when we arrived with a warm welcome. We were upgraded to the Pelican suite, a real treat. The suite is decorated and furnished to a lovely standard and comes with a large bathroom with a shower and rolled top bath. The wow factor of the suite is the view of the garden and lagoon, the gardens are immaculate and full of beautiful plants and flowers, a real paradise! Kate and Nathalie served a delicious breakfast, we enjoyed sitting in the breakfast room enjoying the views. Kate and Nathalie recommended two local restaurants during our stay, they were both fantastic. Nathalie displays her amazing artwork in the guest house, what a talent! We could not leave without buying one of her prints, we will always look at the print and remember our stay at the Double Dutch. We highly recommend the Double Dutch, wonderful owners who care about their guests and the service they offer.

A delightful property run by the lovely hosts Kate and Natalie, who welcomed us with a much needed cold beer and wine . Great views overlooking the bay and out to the indian ocean. A lovely pool area to unwind in and large comfy rooms tastefully decorated including many of Natalie's own works of art . Breakfast was very good , would not hesitate to stay again .

Location, wonderful area, lovely large rooms plenty of space lots of nice touches, fantastic views over the Knysna lagoon! Kate and Natalie are two of the best hosts I’ve had the pleasure of meeting, thoughtful, helpful and good company, would highly recommend.

We loved everything about Double Dutch, our room was beautifully appointed with the most amazing views over the bay and direct access to the swimming pool. The room had everything we needed, including a nice choice of wine in the mini bar and complementary snacks. Our hosts, Natalie and Kate were wonderful! So welcoming and friendly. They gave us great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit.
