After an eight-hour drive, and having unloaded my luggage and bags, I was unfortunately denied access to my room because I was traveling with a small cat. This was despite the hotel being listed as pet-friendly. Furthermore, when I spoke with the hotel by phone the day before to request an extra bed, they were aware I was traveling with a pet but did not inform me of any restrictions. As all other hotels in the area were fully booked, I had no alternative but to drive back to Bangkok.

The overall atmosphere was good, and the rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was delicious.

The Seaview Suite is an enormous room with 2 large balconies, large outdoor Spa Bath & star constellation ceiling feature. It included a bottle of wine, fresh fruit plate, afternoon snacks at the restaurant & mini bar snacks each day. The room was immaculately clean & all staff were friendly/welcoming with a special mention to the restaurant staff who gave exceptional service. Chose to eat in the hotel as excellent food at reasonable prices. The location is a small fishing village a 15 minutes walk along the seafront. A perfect & relaxing place to spend Xmas & escape busy lives.

Lovely reception and welcome drink. Clean modern business hotel with a nice pool. The facilities are good, but the restaurant and coffee shop are a little overpriced. Atmosphere was therefore quiet and subdued.The room was large enough and comfortable with clean bathroom and good quality toiletries.

Well designed

The hotel is located out of nowhere, there is nothing nearby. There could be a nice beach if the hotel can clean up the rocks and trash and put a nice layer of sand there. But at the moment, there is no beach, so guests can stand on the concrete solid pavement to look out to the sea. That's it. The pool is tiny so it can not make it up. The distance to Ao Manao where there is a nice beach is around 3 km. The hotel offers bicycle for rent, no scooter or motorbike or any transport service to the beach. I feel lost staying there. Plus, I booked the hotel around 3 weeks before arrival for Monday til Thursday when the hotel was quite empty. The hotel price on agoda dropped down to a bit more than 1000 THB/night one day before my arrival. But I paid over 8000 THB for 3 nights with booking.com, which is def. a shame. One day after arrival, I asked the hotel if I could cancel the last night because I just wanted to leave, and of course it was not possible. Ao Manao beach is really the only highlight of the whole trip. And the food at the hotel is quite reasonable.
