Fantastic location close to beach and bus stop. Perfect for solo travellers, cosy cabin with fully equipped kitchen, microwave and washing machine (essential for Iceland!) absolutely no complaints

Perfect place to stay when visiting around Reykjavík. Little house with everything you need for a stay. Equipped kitchen (you can cook your meals there), full bathroom, very comfortable room. Incredible clean and organised. Area is really quiet. Owner Ally is super kind.

“Excellent place for a solo traveler.”
Ally met me at the door and provided a little tour over the property which is just next door to her main residence. The unit was sparkling clean: a comfortable mini-bedroom and kitchenette equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal. Ally is a very welcoming and attentive host: she would follow up later in the day to make sure you have everything for a good stay. This is a perfect accommodation for a solo traveller.

Ally is a lovely, friendly and helpful host, who cannot do enough for you. The location is beautiful, if a little quiet, and there's a beautiful walk along the beach, looking back towards Reykjavik. There's a great wee swimming pool with hot and cold tubs overlooking the beach as well, which is open to the public. The accommodation is very compact, neat and spotlessly clean. Ally has made the most of every square centimetre of space, and I had everything I could even imagine needing. (The coffee Ally left out was delicious, and I'm fussy about me coffee!)

Warm and friendly welcome. Ally was a wonderful host. Inside the accommodation we found everything we needed. A comfortable bed, cooking utensils, a clean bathroom. Soap, towels, fresh bedsheets and even some Icelandic chocolate and a Jólaöl were waiting for us. It really was a wonderful stay!

“The place to stay near Reykjavik”
Simply just the perfect place you need for a few nights' stay. The landlady is really courteous and kind and the studio is truly cozy. We even got some coffee and tea, plus a welcome drink in the fridge. 10/10❤️
