I loved everything about this hotel. It is set in a very quiet location, but right on a stunning beach with a private section, which meant peace and security. Everything is very clean, breakfast and dinner are buffet, with dinner having a different theme each night of the week, and in three different locations, and various entertainment, singers or acrobats, who were all superb. Food was very good, and drinks prices very reasonable. Rooms are cleaned daily, with even a turndown service in the evening, when they also spray your room for mosquitos. Large and very clean pool, with plenty of sunbeds available, and pool towels provided. All staff extremely helpful and friendly. The sea is stunning, with superb rock pools when the tide is out, and some of the best snorkelling I´ve ever done. The manager allowed us to stay in our room until we left at 5pm, which was very much appreciated.

This hotel exceeded all my expectations and truly felt like paradise for me. From the moment I arrived, everything was perfect, the atmosphere, the comfort, and the attention to detail. The rooms were spotless and beautifully designed, offering a sense of peace and relaxation that made it hard to leave. The staff were incredibly kind, professional, and always ready to help, making me feel genuinely welcome and cared for. Every corner of the hotel reflects quality and warmth, and the overall experience was simply unforgettable. Great food!

Our accommodation was excellent, the SPA treatments were superb, Ramadan (our butler) was always very helpful and very pleasant to deal with, he has a very good understanding of customer requirements / wishes. Other staff were also helpful. A tame Velvet monkey regularly visited at meal times and would gently take food from those who wished to feed him and the excursions we went on were excellent.

The food is great! People who worked there was amazing and our two butlers, was fantastic. The place is quiet. Surrounding by nice garden, animals and sea. The staff did everything to let us relax and feeling rekviem.

A truly perfect stay! From the very first moment, we received warm, personal, and highly professional service at the highest level. The manager, Ajay was exceptionally kind, attentive, and caring. He took care of every small detail with a genuine smile and made us feel truly valued. His personal and amazing approach made a huge difference in our experience. A special mention goes to Mohammed, the butler — we have never experienced such outstanding service. He is a wonderful person: kind, professional, and constantly making sure everything was perfect and that we lacked nothing. He turned an already amazing stay into an unforgettable one. The place itself is absolutely stunning, and the food was excellent and delicious. The chef went above and beyond to accommodate any sensitivities or foods we don’t eat, preparing special dishes just for us, which we truly appreciated. The room we stayed in was simply amazing – very spacious, with a huge and incredibly comfortable bed, and a large, beautifully designed room that made our stay even more enjoyable. There is no doubt that we will return, and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a high-level vacation with heartfelt service ❤️

The place was quiet and peaceful

Very bad hotel, I can't begin to explain. 1) this place is basically only for honeymoon style trips there isn't much to do. 2) there is a huge hole in the wall where you see directly to the toilet and shower with zero privacy. 3) after 10pm, there is no food at the hotel and no place to order. If you are hungry at night, only option is to sleep it off. 4) AC was leaking into the bedroom and woke up to a pool of water in the middle of the room. 5) the location is extremely remote and 1 hour and a half away by taxi from the ferry.

“Amazing Resort and Staff”

We stayed at Fruit & Spice for five days and wished we could have stayed even longer. We’ve travelled to many places around the world, but Zanzibar - and this resort in particular, will remain one of our favourites for a lifetime. A special thank you to Ajay, Hamzah, and Venson for making our trip extraordinary. I proposed there to my now-fiancée, and they couldn’t have done more to help organise a successful “yes.” If you’re lucky enough to meet them, give them a hello from us - rest assured you’ll be in the best hands. The food was absolutely amazing, and I’d encourage everyone to choose full board (we went with half board). I know I sound like part of the marketing team right now, but if you’re looking for a quiet, intimate place to relax, this is it. The beach is perfect too. I’d recommend this resort to anyone. The hotel was really beautiful so was our room. We felt really comfortable, the pool was really good and the staff was really nice. The food was really good, and we really liked the themed nights.

It was a beautiful place with best views. Very clam and relaxing with decent range of food options. The room we stayed in (Jungle) was very nice. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We want to specially mention Ramadan who took great care of us and always made sure we were having a good time; he also arranged a little surprise for my birthday which was greatly appreciated.Also want to mention the surprise room deco when we checked in.

Wonderful resort in the middle of beautiful nature, very friendly and helpful staff, delicious food in the restaurant, professional and good management, very good breakfast, cozy jungle villa and very nice private villa (got an upgrade after my booked jacuzzi with ocean view was not available), very helpful private butler, great private pool with georgeous view, private access to the ocean, nice wooden bathtub in the bathroom, comfortable large kingisze bed with a hard mattress, very nice terrace, two bathrooms, one TV (no Smart-TV though and with a poor selection of channels), very good WiFi!
