The rooms and beds were comfortable. Nothing flashy or luxurious in design, but clean, well-kept, and perfectly good for relaxing after a day out. The service was the highlight: every member of staff we encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful, which made a big difference given how self-contained the stay is.

“Amazing, would come back”

Amazing place in the rain forest! It is all as beautiful as advertised. A new building in the nature, all rooms face the forest, sounds of nature all around you. The hotel is small so you get very personal experience. Staff are super helpful! And you can pay for everything with a bank card (although, if needed, ATMs are available a short drive away). Comfy bed, great wifi, tasty and beautifully presented food. Great place to switch off and relax. They also can arrange various activities in the area

“Relaxing place to stay with excellent service”

This was the first place we stayed at after arriving in Sri Lanka. We wanted a place to relax and to go water rafting. The manager Kenny is helpful, efficient and friendly . We felt well looked after by him and his team and it made for a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. We went water rafting which we organised ourselves and we also went on a walk to a waterfall , arranged by Kenny and guided by Danushka who took us in his tuk tuk. It was a nice walk and the waterfall and rock pool which we swam in was clean and quiet. We stayed on a half board basis and the choices and quality of food at breakfast and dinner were excellent. The pool was a delight - clean and pretty. Overall, this was a great stay

This was a lovely hotel and broke up our journey really well between Columbo and N.Eliya. The staff were friendly, the food excellent and it was fun to do down to the river with the kids. The dining area is stunning all surrounded with glass in the jungle.

Kenny and his team were incredible hosts and provided us with so much hospitality. The service was impeccable! We really enjoyed the surrounding nature, the hotel had a space for us to practice yoga, and a river nearby with natural pools to swim. The food was delicious.

Location was amazing. Sudarsha and Chamara were very helpful and made sure the stay was comfortable. Loved the private tour to the waterfall. Our guide Dhanushka was very kind and patient during the who trip. Looking foward to visit again.

“Rainforest lucxury”

This was the most expensive hotel on our Sri Lanka trip but was worth every penny. Everything about it is unique (and luxurious). Set in a secluded rainforest location, its own private stream (which you can swim in) it is the perfect escape. The hotel arranges excursions and we booked an amazing white water rafting trip. The food was also tip top. As I said, not the cheapest but definitely a recommended indulgence during your Sri Lankan tour.

Beautiful surroundings, excellent food and very attentive staff. The hotel organized (included in the price of our booking) a very nice trip around the area with a tuktuk, that brought us in short walk distance to waterfalls and natural ponds(must try when staying in the hotel). Highly recommend. Thank you for the room upgrade!

“A unique and special place in the Kitulgala jungle”

This is easily one of the best hotels in Sri Lanka. The small number of rooms means you receive attentive and thoughtful personalised service, without any compromise on amenities. Those amenities include the unique natural pond and river. Photos don’t really do this place justice: it is surrounded by the most amazing array of natural vegetation, much of which is expertly and creatively used by the accomplished kitchen team. The food here is incredible. Even the coffee is made from beans grown in the grounds. The rooms are excellent with beautiful jungle views. The staff could not do more to make you feel welcome and help with anything you ask. For example, we wondered whether mangosteens are served with breakfast: they said no but they would see what they could do. The next morning, and without mentioning this again, when our fruit was served, we were presented with a full plate of mangosteens freshly picked from the garden. The team deserve great things and I’m sure this will continue to be a very successful hotel.

The location is amazing. The people in the hotel was really nice, all the time trying to fulfill all our needs. The food was amazing, typical dishes and not typical ones, everything was delicious. We also do some activities, a walking through the rain forest and it was so fun, our guide Danushka, show us everything! This is one of a kind hotel, if you want some relax time, combine with some adventurous activities this is your hotel.

“Perfect first stop for 1 night after a flight from the UK.”

Peaceful location, all the staff were really lovely. Hotel arranged a guide to take us to Mannakethi waterfalls which were only 15 minutes away. The waterfalls were really beautiful, we had a swim in the natural pool and were the only people there. The hotel also provided us with transport and safe driver to our next stop Nuwara Eliya.
