Overview
This central Kissimmee resort is within a 10-minute drive of the Walt Disney World property entrance. It offers a full-service spa, 2 outdoor pools and suites with a fully equipped kitchen. A separate sitting area with a sofa bed and flat-screen TV is provided in every suite at Star Island Resort and Club. Rooms feature light colors and offer a laptop safe box, DVD player and clock radio. Tennis, basketball or volleyball courts, and mini golf facilities are just part of the many activities Star Island Resort offers on property. Later, relax in the sauna or beauty salon. Extensive fitness facilities are also available. There is a convenience store fully stocked with sandwiches, ice cream, and a variety of travel essentials on site at Star Island Resort and Club. SeaWorld Orlando is 13 km from this resort. Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores are just a 6-minute drive away.

“All in all, a great stay, the rooms are a bit tired though and need updating.”
Pool and jacuzzi were good and well heated, the facilities were good but not all in very good condition (broken table tennis table, some of the tennis rackets had broken strings). It was great that everything was enclosed and the kids could wander round the resort without us worrying. They also loved feeding the squirrels and the local racoon. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great sized bedroom and lounge/kitchen in the villa.

The facility is always clean. Well maintain and very courteous and helpful people every time i've stayed there, they've always been very accommodating with everything that I needed.

“We enjoyed our stay immensely, and would stay there again.”
It was a great place to stay. People were very friendly, the kids loved the pool! Did not have a lot of time to partake of the other amenities, pickle ball and tennis. I have stayed there before, and the room was fine. We had requested adjoining rooms, which were not available, but we did manage to be on the same floor. I personally found the beds to be a little hard.

The facilities were great. The on-site shop didn’t have loads but enough for the basics, but typically priced high for convenience. The pools were a great size and the staff around the pools were very helpful. Generally the facilites were really good. Can’t fault the location either for all the parks and plenty of shops and restaurants within a 5 minute drive or less.

We enjoyed our stay and will come back. The staffs are friendly. The room is clean once you check in. Any additional room cleaning the following days will be charged. We were okay without. The room is nice and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped. If you are more than 4 persons, you might want to ask them for additional utensils. We brought our own just in case its an additional charge lol. They have a convenient store that has everything (drinks,snacks, souvenirs, flip flops, swimsuit and more). They have a resto as well that closes at 10 PM which is nice. They have 2 good temperatured pools with a bar and complimentary pool towels. There's a sports area as well. Cant remember if it was badminton or tennis or both. We didn't have time to use them. They have a mini arcade open 24/7 which was great for the kids. Really a good price value for what you pay.

“Great holiday which put a smile on our faces from start to finish.”
Great size one bedroom suite. The bed was massive and very very comfortable. The shower was one of the best we have every had in any hotel. Laundry facilities within the unit, which is great so the need to take fewer clothes. The area was very quiet and our balcony overlooked some of the tennis courts which were used very often. The pool area was great and watching the kids at lunchtime doing their Hola Hoop and Limbo competitions put a smile on our faces. All the staff very pleasant and the cleanliness of the entire property was exceptional.
